Worst shopping experience ever. Although the one and only employee in the store was pleasant, I asked if they carry distilled water and she directed me back to the bottled drinking water. That was the least of my worries. ALL the aisles were cluttered with boxes of merchandise and random items that had fallen off shelves and I could barely get my cart through them. It was impossible not to bang into boxes trying to maneuver my way through the store. I have NEVER seen such a messy and cluttered Dollar General and Ive shopped at many of their stores since they first opened. When I finally made it to the check out, the machine wouldnt accept my coupons. The clerk went to ask the manager for help but came back and said the manager wasnt there and that she might have stepped out of the store. REALLY? She had to cancel transaction and run my items through again so I could get to the "coupons" selection on the screen. It worked! Then when I put in my debit card, the machine didnt work again. The clerk apologized and said theyd been having trouble with it all day!! NEVER go to this store unless youre in a dire emergency and dont even try to use a cart. Youll be sorry. This store doesnt deserve one star. It should be shut down for good!

The store was closed at 9:15 when they are supposed to be open till 10. This store is always filthy & cluttered. It is very hard to walk around in. They are always understaffed. Stood in line last week for over 15 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. I asked a girl working on the floor if they could open another register. She answered with "there isnt a till in the drawer. ". I said could you please go get one? After another 5 minutes, the girl walks up to the 2nd register & signs on. There WAS a till in the drawer & she had just lied to me. This place is convenient, but please get it together & train your people & clean this place up. I had to put one star to post, but would not have given any today

Employees are hateful and not helpful at all!! Had an item to return and the put my money on a dollar general card!! Excuse me thats not what I paid you with. Laziness is always unacceptable. I have worked in customer service for years and these girls need some training!!! They are lucky they got one star because Id give them nothing!!!

I love my Brownsburg, In store. Always clean and employees are helpful and friendly. Im not happy with the digital coupons though!! Every time I try to use them its such a hassle, because it never takes all the coupons I have checked and saved off.
