Their delivery driver dropped a VERY large filing cabinet off at one our business locations, not our home address where we requested it be delivered. I am sure Prestige Delivery dropped it off at the business because it took less of his time, but I cannot haul this very large item! The Online Chat customer service person was rude and kept telling me that it was delivered to the "ship to" address - which it was not, and she said in the future I should put the correct delivery address on the order. She cut me off before I was finished with my conversation. I contacted Staples Customer Service and I received this response "Since the item is already marked delivered, I am unable to request for the courier to return and move the item to a more convenient location for you. Delivery instructions can be requested prior to the delivery, however, it is not a guarantee and is still up to the drivers discretion if they can accomodate the request."

A Private User
I went to the Bloomington Staples this past Saturday to shop for a new desk and chair for my home office. I spent about a half-hour to 45 minutes in the furniture dept. browsing their selection, and not a single employee came to help get a desk for me, let alone ask if I needed assistance. The store was dead, and the employees were lounging around at the front of the store. I finally decided to just get a chair that had a box out on the floor. My husband struggled to carry it to the front of the store, where the girl at the cash register sucked on a Capri-Sun drink while she checked us out. My husband once again struggled to lift the box and carry it out to our car in the rain since no assistance was offered. I will NOT be shopping here again.

I recently called the store, hoping to find a particular product. The employees did their job admirably. However, I was troubled by the reception of the phone call during the hold music. Kudos for playing the song "Soak Up The Sun" by Sheryl Crow, perhaps one of the 10 most essential tunes to be entered into the pop canon in the last twenty years; demerit for the reception which made cut in and out. The next song, some piece of more recent, blue-eyed soul drivel, came in loud and clear. AGGRAVATING.

That was not easy whatsoever. I couldnt make it to staples until 4:30 right before rush hour. This was my third attempt to get single subject notebooks after they had twice previously told me to "come back and theyd have them". Spent way too much time looking for the promised notebooks, didnt find them, and got stuck in traffic.

If you can catch stuff on sale, its a good place for school & office supplies. Located next to Barnes & Noble, across from Pizza Hut. Staff is helpful, but you have to go to them, as theyre always standing up front at counters.

Cant really understand why this place has such a low rating. Not only do they sell staples, but they sell paper clips as well. Definitely the place to visit for all of your paper binding needs.
