This is a must store for woodworkers. The staff all seem to be accomplished woodworkers, have answers for many challenges. They stock quality tools with good knowledge of differences. The regular prices reflect a markup to cover the trained staff and inventory of many tools. The big box stores carry lower quality at a lower price, but I usually find that the cheaper tool is, in the end, more expensive than starting with a quality tool.

I went in to get some milling bits and a band saw blade. I brought my 4 year old son, which at many tool stores is a no no. The sales person had a great conversation with him and bought him a tape measure of his own! My son has walked around so proud since measuring things and showing the safety lesson on how to use it since. Thanks Woodcraft. You guys are great!

The help is knowledgeable and polite. However, I bought a Wood River plane only to find out that the plane was already removed from the internal packaging and no instruction or introduction pamphlet inside. I consider this a pre-opened or pre-sold item. This really is unacceptable. I travelled quite a distance to purchase this item.

These guys are rude, and work hard to make sure you shop somewhere else. Good thing home depot is right next door where everythings cheaper and they actually have what you need. Ive worked in wood shops for 10 years, too bad they dont want my business.

The employees are the best part! My husband and I drive over an hour 1 way to come here, and its 100% worth it. They are all extreemly polite, helpful, and knowledgeable! You can pick up things you cannot get anywhere else, and its top shelf quality.

After traveling 45 minutes to try and buy a router lift, router table fence and 1500 watt motor, two different staff members told me they couldnt help me and said I should go to Rockler. Ill be going there from now on.

This is another Woodcraft store. And yes l have shopped at all of them! I just cant help myself. You can always order thu their catalog but if you are a touchy feely like me you just have to go to the store.
