Our experience here was horrible. The first time we were in we waited over 20 minutes for someone to help us in the kitchen department. When the worker finally noticed us he said hed call another guy for help but then continued to sit down with other people and talk with them and did not find anyone to help us . Then another worker ten minutes later came to help us and we purchased our item and asked what time Monday we could come back to pick up our product. The workers at the register told us 6pm. We arrived today (Monday) at about 4:45 pm giving us and the workers plenty of time to help us load our item into our truck but they were all very concerned because they were closing at 5pm which is an hour earlier than the original time of closing they told us the first day we were in. The one woman at the counter kept running around trying to find a worker to help us and at the same time kept answering the phone "HOBO, we close at 5" which we found very rude and unprofessional. All the workers at the counter proceeded to have a hard time communicating with the other workers to get someone to load our purchase into the truck. By the time the loaders came out they were very helpful except for an older gentleman who gave us a hard time about putting a blanket down because we wanted to ensure that our purchase wouldnt get scratched. Obviously, they had no concern about that because by the time they got it loaded into the truck they had all walked away and we inspected our purchase which had a large chip on part of the counter top. Overall it was a horrible experience, no one was friendly or had good customer service. It was a stressful atmosphere and I would not recommend anyone to go to a HOBO, or at least not this location.

I love this store but after going to the 27th street store I figured I needed to say they need some spring cleaning badly. How can one store be so busy and so messy and the other store be so clean. I will always shop here at West Allis because Ive come here for 15 to 20 years with my mom and dad and now I bring my family but I want my store to look like that store were in a better area if we could flip that staff and that store this would be the best store Ive ever shopped at. The only positive I can take away is that my store at least I can shop in peace without any beggars or fear for my safety on 27th street its like the opening of Pandoras box you never know whats gonna happen I recommend my store for safety and still obtaining the same merchandise but I recommend that store if you want a better shopping experience just make sure you have a conceal and carry weapon because that store is located in a horrible area and the security guard was way at the end of the parking lot and was on his cell phone with his head down I just shook my head and drove away but I should of known it was a bad area when I saw the security guard. What a waste of a good store. West Allis can you please clean up better and get faster cashiers your lines are just way to long thats the only reason I went to 27th street store and now Im jealous its not my store but its OK I will take the dirty store over the unsafe store any day of the week

I purchased the Celedine bedroom set at the end of January but didnt have time to switch out my old set for this one right away. When we finally had time to do it the middle of February. Took the mirror or the packaging and it was manufactured damaged. The plywood of the back of the mirror was stripped from the screws holding it to the mirror. I called and they were willing to exchange it, but stated they had to bring it from another store, that they would call me when it was in. A week and a half went by and never received a call. I called and had to explain the situation all over again because it was never put in the system. I picked the replacement mirror up on Tuesday. Went to put it up on Sunday and on the bottom of the mirror, the wood was broke. This is ridiculous! Now I want a full refund!

The rep in the tile service was very nice and helpful. However I needed to return tile because my customers went with a different option. I realize they have a 30 day return policy but Im sure its in place to stop theft. I came in with my original receipt and all the tile unopened and because I was 6 days past they would only give me store credit. Very dissapointed with the customer service as I asked to speak with a manager. The manager would not even come talk to me and just said no to the lady at the return desk over the phone. I will have to use my credit there now, but after that I will direct my customers to stores that care about their customers and give them the courtesy to at least talk with them.

I like the store pretty much in West Allis. My most recent purchase was tiles for a kitchen back splash and supplies. Loved the variety. HOWEVER, I was in there Saturday morning and the music was driving me insane!! It was rappy hip hop sounding stuff and too loud! I was trying to shop in peace and concentrate on picking out some tile, but again that music was so annoying and distracting. I almost walked out, but really wanted to find some tile that day. Today I had to go back for a few more tiles and I didnt hear the music. My next purchase I am hoping for is installing a granite or quartz counter top. They have good prices and variety, but please no more of that a music!

I bought some tile here and needed to return it today. For one part of the return, I didnt have a receipt. For the other part, it was a special order. One of the employees helped me load the tile - there were 5 boxes and they were at least 75 pounds each. I only wish I had his name so I could give a shout out to him - thank you, nice guy who was soo helpful! Then, when I got to the return, the cashier - Ashley - was seamlessly efficient - she did both transactions without a hitch. This honestly has been the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have received in a long time. Everyone I encountered there was pleasant and DID THEIR JOB. It was a great experience.

Purchased a double sink and had the store employees check it over and it looked O.K. Got it home and found a hair line crack. I handled the sink gently and did not drop it. Took it back to the store and the manager would not give me full credit. He must think that his employees have X-ray vision and should have seen the crack. Sink was made in Mexico and traveled several thousand miles to Milwaukee and was handled by many people before I purchased it. I will shop in the future at stores that stand behind their product.
