First Time Eating Honduran Food N I Have No Idea What I Orderd I Asked For "Chicharon" Im 9Months Pregnant N I Crave Pork Skin.It Took 20 Minutes To Fix A Cold Plate. I Called The Waiter N Told Her I Was Dissatisfied With My Purchase N How Do They Feel About Refunds The Lady Told Me Dont Worry WeWill Give Yuh A Discount On Yuhr Purchase N Sorry About The Trouble She Than Took The Plate N Brought Me A Menu. i Order Something Little Since I Lost Appetite. The Lady Didnt Give Me My Receipt I Thought We Were In Good Hands But I Felt Over Charged So I Decide To Ask About My Purchase. She Told Me She Charged Me For Everything And Gave Me A Discount On The Plate She Threw Away. So I Told Her Normally If Yuh Return A Whole Plate Of Food Its Considered A Refund They Apologize And Generously Offer Yuh A Meal On The House . Sometimes They Even Ask If I Would Lyk To Keep The Plate N Order Something New. Hmmm She Through A Whole Plate Of Food Dat Was Worth 6.50 N Charged Me 4.00 For It? Am I Wrong To Ask For My Whole Money Bck?

It brought me really close to home! I was born in Honduras and spent most my life there with my family. Once I moved to U.S I couldnt find a place to eat and feel like if I was at my home country until we heard that there was a Honduran restaurant at Waukegan, so we all decided to try it out. This restaurant just reminds you so much of your Honduras, and that home made chimol that they have there is unexplainably delicious. Antojitos Honduran style tacos are just the same length and width of a taco youd get at Honduras (you know pretty BIG). Let me tell you that theres no doubt that this place has "MADE IN HONDURAS" written all over it and that once a Catracho/Catracha comes by he/she will feel like if they never left Honduras. So, if youre new to the area and just happen to be by Waukegan and want to try a different kind of restaurant.... I recommend you Antojitos Hondurenos, a great restaurant thatll take you on a tasty trip to Honduras without ever leaving the States.

Been there twice and we really like the restaurant, its clean and the food is good, the waitress is very friendly, although can get crowded since is small.

The Honduran tamales that they sell in the Deli are so delicious that they taste and remind me of exactly how my Mom made them. Yummy!
