I usually recommend ALDI stores to anyone because they almost always have the lowest price on everything. However- when buying fresh produce from this store, time and again, I have had to throw it out within a couple of days. Their bags of "Cuties" oranges are contaminated with mold spores that sprout quickly. Their strawberries and blueberries tend to get some white fluff on it that is mildew or a fungus or some such thing. Also - they have raised the price of milk and now their neighbor, Walmart, has a lower price than them. They have also raised the price of their chocolate so that its actually cheaper to buy name brand. If they would fix the mold problem on fresh foods, Id give them a five star rating again.

Aldi is a great place to do my grocery shopping. It has fresh produce, and all the basic stuff that I would need on a regular trip. Their selection varies and you cant always get everything if you are looking for very specific products but their prices are the best in town.

Aldi is wonderful! Reasonably priced groceries, friendly staff, and a very clean store. This store is sooo much better than the one on the other side of town! Just try it (it make take 2 or 3 visits) but you will love it! I save so much money by shopping here!
