Horrible customer service and it was me watching this happen to someone else in front of me.. i Thing they need better training and the older lady if shes was the owner i feel like she cant be working there with such condescending attitude and honestly i think she is racist against Latinos just with this whole experience im 100% sure she is... This is what happened: " I have never had an issue here its honestly really good custard ice cream but the lady was pure mean spirited I wanted an extra little mini cup to give a treat to my puppy bcuz he had been a good boy all day and I didnt even ask for it for free I told her to sell it to me yet she said she couldnt do it and I also told her then I would like to buy a mini vanilla which is like $1.99 and she said she couldnt sell it to me... like why? I honestly felt like I had done something wrong take you I was literally buying from them I had purchased 3 other things and also when I asked for a lid she was like for what? I told her my order and she didnt even want to really give a lid I needed a lid because we are walking distance from this place and we had a 4 month old baby in the stroller and we needed to protect our ice cream from bugs... Im honestly so upset and disappointed never have I been treated like this or been made to feel like my purchase was not needed there"

Brought my mother here for dessert the other day (after having lunch down the street at Fratellos, of course :-) ). I must say, the owners have done a wonderful job renovating the old gas station into a premier frozen custard stand. Very clean, very modern look. The service was great and the frozen treats were delicious. I had a birch beer float (they serve Boylans pops, for those of you looking for that brand around here). My mother had a large turtle sundae and it was so big that she couldnt finish it all. They have several tables on the north side of the building, and at this time of year, they were in the shade of the building, which was nice, because it was quite sunny that day. Would I go back? Absolutely! I am quite looking forward to my next visit!

Comet. My dear sweet comet. The custard and coffee are both amazing. Wear stretchy pants because youre going to leave full!! Yumm! Even more amazing than the product is the staff. I cant even begin to explain how amazing this family and their employees are. I could sit here all night and write about how amazing this place is. But really just go find out for yourself.

Awesome frozen custard, shakes, and flavors! The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond in customer service. They have an "indoor" area that opens up in warmer weather, so dont worry about being able to enjoy your custard this winter.

Dont get me wrong, its a great place in Rolling Meadows to get good fresh frozen custard. However not being open on Sunday is ridiculous. There is no indoor area to eat, so it will be difficult to come during the winter.
