This was undoubtedly my "worst buy" experience! I was apprehensive about ordering appliances through Best Buy. I now know my skepticism was accurate. After promising the world, as the salesman started ringing me up, everything began going wrong. I had a coupon emailed to me as a house-warming gift, for 10% off the purchase of an appliance. The sales team kept assuring me that after I agreed to pay the full price for my 4 appliances, without the $104 discount, that my receipt would show the reduced amount. Of course, I was charged the full, incorrect amount with no discount. Part of the reason that I was convinced to close the deal was that the salesman assured me that I could cancel the scheduled delivery on Monday, May 8, if I wanted to pick up the appliances myself at any time. He assured me that I would be able to make arrangements to pick up the four appliances on Thursday, May 4. I called the number for Reschedule/Questions on my Delivery from my paperwork. The Customer Service Rep told me that there would be no problem. But she kept placing me on and off hold for about 45 minutes, to make sure it was OK with the warehouse, if I ended up needing to make 2 trips. Following that 45 minutes, she said that everything was all set; but she wanted to connect me to the warehouse to get their address. After another 20 minutes on hold before a woman at the warehouse answered, who repeatedly told me that everything that in my order was on backorder. I told her that not only the salesman but the customer service rep had assured me that everything in my order was in stock and ready to be picked up. Following another series of long periods on hold, she told me that the service rep had messed things up by changing my pick-up location to another state. She said there was nothing she could do about it, that I should not have called the number provided in my paperwork from the sale, and I should have talked to the store rep in the first place. She stated that Ill have to call the store when it opens and I might be able to pick it up the following day. She assured me that I would not have to explain the whole situation again because she would leave detailed notes on how to fix the order on my account. Not only did I have to walk yet another person through the entire situation, but when I finished, she said, OK, Ill connect you to the store. I asked, then who did I call? It was a call dispatch system for the stores. I finally got through everything at the store. They assure me that all is fixed, and the appliances will be ready for me to pick up. I again make arrangements to pick everything up. I get to the warehouse and a woman found the order number and took my drivers license. After more than 45 minutes without an update, she advises me and another waiting customer that there is a problem with their label printer and she cant release our orders until it is fixed. Their recommendation was to leave and wait for a call, then come all the way back to the warehouse. They additionally had no idea when the issue might be resolved. After this ordeal, I feel certain that the customer service with this company ends at the point where their credit cards are swiped. I also felt nothing short of harassment in regard to the unrelenting pressure to buy a warranty. The discount of $104 does not come close to compensation for this grueling experience.

The employees at this Best Buy treat there customers very bad. I had the worst experience at that Best Buy. Also never buy the Best Buy Warranty. It is a huge scam. Okay here is what happend. I purchesed a i pod 80 gig classic new in 2008, and the best buy warranty, the i pod broke, So I brought it in to get repaired of replaced. So best buy sent it to "Apple". I picked it up at best buy in a couple of weeks. I open the package up at home and what I see is a so called i pod. I dont even know if its a real i pod. On the back of the " i pod" there are no i pod markings and a serial number or anything and the pad is sticking up. The employee there told me it was normal. So I took it to the local Apple store. Apple told me " if it breaks we can not fix it." We would just scrap it." We would not even look at it". The Apple store told me that Apple would never send back an I pod like this. So I went to best buy right after, I told them what apple sayed and best buy told me the ipod they sent me is refurbished and three different "i pods" they send me have to be defective before they send me a brand new REAL i pod. So two more i pods they send me have to be defective, the one I have now counts as one. I only have one year left in the warranty. The i pod they sent did not even work properly, every time I sync a cd it erases the whole "i pod" It takes 2 hours to re sync it. I alrighty been back and forth to best buy like 4-6 times and no one will doing anything. The guy that works there told me that everything is okay and the apple store is wrong. 2 months later. So I went back there April, 6. 2010, I ipod Best Buy sent me (The one that I complaned about before) broke, it would not turn on and the clicker wheel was broke. So I brought it back there, I talked to the manager, And explaned to him that the ipod was a piece of garbage and nicely asked him if they could send me a different one ( the rapid exchange). I still have one year left on the warrenty. The manager would not listen to me and said I dropped it and broke the lcd screen. I told him what are you talking about, I never dropped it. The manager said the warrenty does not cover the damage and it would cost me $35 dollors to have "apple" look at it. I told him I bought the warrenty and Im not paying anything to have it looked at.So I sayed show me wear it sayes that the warranty does not cover the i pod not turning on, so he pulls out this book right in front of me and stares at it for 5 minutes and sayes it does not cover it. The manager told me he could not do anything. The manager tryed to came up with every excuse/lie to try to get out of getting me a replacement "i pod". Then the manager got in my face and started yelling "hit me" 4 times, So I just turned around and walked out. Do not waste your time shopping here.

The worst service ever! I placed an order for store pickup, went in to check on it, and even though the shelf was full of them, they said they still had to process the order and they would be ready the next day. It didnt make sense because the store was full of them, but ok I waited another day. The next morning I got an email saying the order was delayed and wouldnt be there for a week! I was on the phone for an hour and a half being transfered back and forth between useless employees who couldnt do their job, then eventually became disconnected. Basically, they are incompetent, and unable to set aside items that have been ordered and paid for. They screwed up, and nobody would try to correct the situation, or make things right. I will never shop with best buy again, because of the unprofessional, incompetent employees in this store. I could understand if the shipment never came in, but it did, and they received a large quantity. Someone didnt do their job that only required them to move two items from one place to another. Because of this, I will not have what I need. This is unacceptable and pathetic.
