Generally friendly employees, but prices are around 30% higher than Krogers for most items. Wont be going back myself. I shop with my backpack and reusable bags, because I have to walk home and dont want to end up with more than I can carry. One of the managers told me I would be obliged to use a cart and the disposable produce bags, and have the cashiers do the bagging. Never had that happen to me before, in 25 years of grocery shopping.

I love the layout and freshness of their produce dept and they have the best ground beef in town. I have ordered several buttercream frosted cakes from their bakery and they are always delicious. They have ood, friendly cashiers and baggers who are well trained. This store is always spotless, too. They do a great job with that!

Prices are higher at schnucks, only go when convenience is a factor, or if I have good coupons. Selection isnt as good as a Kroger or Hy-Vee either, and prices are astronomical versus something like Aldis or Walmart.
