My son and I purchased some items on March 29th from thus store. My son purchased a box shower curtain set for 15.00 and a bath rug for 6.00. He bill was 21.00 and change. Whereas I purchased a packaged bath rug set for 10.00 my bill was 10.80. Great, so I thought. I finally talk my son into redecorating his bath room with new shower curtain and rug. Well, later that evening I commenced to put his new shower curtain up and noticed black dye on the bottom of the curtain and on the wash cloth that came with it. So I took the curtain back down, had my son to take it back to Family Dollar. My son couldnt find his receipt so he had to get a store credit. I could understand that. But, the store clerk refused to return the shower curtain for 15.00 of which my son paid cash for. He was only given a ten dollar and eighty cent credit! I guess he put the five dollar plus tax difference in his pocket. The register had to be out of balance for the difference on 3-29. Why cheat a customer for 5.00?

This place is okay for just going to grab something you need if you live close by to the store. I would not go out of my way to shop here. The prices are not really that great. You would be better off shopping at a regular full grocery store such as Walmart. The staff seen to rotate often and although very friendly they seem to be very interested in gossip between themselves. The store is very small but has the usual needed items. Overall, its a nice store to just grab something quick.
