I wish I could give this locations mill work/doors department negative stars. I spent 3 hours there last weekend ordering 7 sets of doors for my home rehab project. I walked in with specifics of everything I needed and just needed to place the order. The worker proceeded to tell me what I did and did not need and made me second guess myself. Given I am not a door expert and this man was paid to be, I made the mistake of trusting his judgement and took his recommendation. That was my first mistake. I proceeded to order $1500 in doors so mind you this was not a small order. When they arrived I found that the sliding closet doors that I wanted had bores in them based on his recommendation and now I have to figure out a way to patch these giant holes cut out of my doors because just as I thought I didnt need them. Then when installing the $200 worth of tracks that he informed me "were exactly what I needed" come to find out not only are they not for dual hanging sliding doors but pocket sliding doors. That was strike two. I then returned to the store to inquire about reordering one of my doors that could not be accepted at the time of deliver because it looked like it had been sitting in 6inches of water and the ravaged by a bear. Upon speaking with customer service and spending 30 minutes waiting for them to review my order and then call a minimum of 3 people for verification on god knows what, I get told they cant handle it since it was a special order and I need to speak with mill work to RE-order and RE-pay for delivery. What? I will have to repay to order and deliver something sub-par that you sent me? I return to the door department and after waiting 25 minutes am told that not only ate they too busy to answer my question but no one else will be working or available for a few hours when the other worker arrives. Needless to say, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt but after this many errors there is clearly a fundamental training problem here. How are everyday consumers supposed to shop in a home improvement store when the employees are less knowledgeable than we are? Frustrating all on fronts to say the least.

The people in this particular location are approachable and helpful. The store is clean and not too cluttered. My issue mainly lies on Menards Return/Refund Policy. Do not buy any gas powered equipment at any Menards. We bought our MTD snow thrower there during Black Friday weekend. We brought it home and did not start. I called Menards ahead of time to see what the return policy was for Menards and only then were we told that Gas Powered equipment are non-exchangeable or non-refundable. I can agree with that policy to a certain degree, but if the equipment that was purchase does not ever start then that product should be returnable or, at the very least, exchangeable. Now I am stuck dealing with MTD in trying to repair this machine myself. In the future, I will shop at other location (including family owned shops) that have a better exchange or return policy.

A little bit of everything needed to keep a house in shape and running smoothly. From building supplies for electric, plumbing, construction, and landscaping to departments normally reserved for entire stores like furniture, automotive, groceries, pet supplies and appliances large and small; Menards carries a little bit of almost everything. They dont always have the best selection within each department, but you can probably get everything you need in a single stop if you just need the basics. This Menards is clean and big enough that it seemed fairly empty even with a full parking lot. And yes, they had everything on my list.

Was there 6 a.m. on Black Friday, your staff was organized, friendly, and helpful. Having orange nets around building for line control was a great idea, it stopped line jumpers which causes alot on problems, and puts a bad vibe on the other customers. We were about 200 place in line and got in, no problem ,got cart, no problem, found our stuff and you had PLENTY of help on hand to point out where something was, and check- out was really really quick. I have shopped at your stores and normally find it wonderful but you guys went way beyond in your customer service. THANK_YOU and thanks to your staff. Lonny Fleischer

The 11% rebate is a ripoff and this is a terribly managed store. We priced mall tile last week for $63.80 a carton and went to buy them today but the price was raised to $71.80 which is 12% more than they were last week. The cashier explained they do this for the rebate. We asked the manager if we could get them for $63.80 he said yes but we cant get the rebate. We had over $1,000.00 of kitchen remodeling items that we did not purchase due to the bait and switch & horrible customer service! They also lost 2 customers forever!

I bought a laptop stand at this store and i almost wasted 2 hours assembling this as this product is a junk with out proper screws and threads. I returned and tried other piece with 1 more hour wasted and this have the same issues. I am surprised how this products came in to market with out basics (Proper screws and threads). The staff there didnt want to help in assembling this products. I am really surprised how Menards letting this junk products in to market.

Wonderful customer service! After we purchased a gazebo from this location, we got home and realized the box came without the gazebo canopy. I called the store and the general manager, David told us the gazebo was discontinued and he did not have one in stock. Instead of making us return it, he called around to local stores and had one shipped to his store so we didnt have to drive and pick it up. Now THAT is customer service. Thank you so much!

I rate every employee I have dealt with as excellent, without exception. Today, I was overwhelmed by the concerns of an associate, Audra. I want her supervisors to become aware she proceeded to search and find the items I sought after I left store. Upon my unplanned return to the store, she amiably informed me of her successful search. I was provided my desired items. Her service is not only notable. It is commendable.

Of all the place around here when I need something Im not sure will be anywhere else I go here. Actually I go here for all my lumber when I am building projects, especially outside. The store is clean, bright, and well laid out. Plus they have cool gifts to give for kids to do outside, fun outdoor toys for kids and adults.

Hard to find someone willing to help without "Im not from that department". When you finally get someone to help they help you through gritted teeth. Took me over an hour to buy a yard table even though I had the model in my hand when I walked in the store. Slow service that can only improve.

Walked through just to see what a Menards is. Answer: meh. Why do they stock so many different items? Who goes in there for groceries and decides to pick up a new front door too? And the quality of the merchandise was suspect, in many cases. Looks like lumber might be a decent buy, though.
