I initially went to the Lombard location looking for Goodyear tires for my 2004 Cavalier. They said they were out of those tires, and had no idea when they would have them back, and gave me a couple of other options, a Yokohama or a Pierelli. I told them Id think about it and come back if I was interested. Turns out my brother in law (a fully certified mechanic in another state) verified all their information, and said the Pierellis would be the best for my car. They were significantly less expensive than the Goodyears I first sought. So I made an appointment. They were on time, which was very nice to see. I requested to see the date of manufacture on the tires. They said it would be 2009, and the manufacture date they showed me on my tire actually was - specifically the 13th week of 2009. Service was on time, very professional, and they included lifetime rotations at no charge. No high pressure sales, no bait and switch, they gave me what I asked for at the price they agreed to with no extra charges. My one suggestion would be to make an appointment (I made mine online). Very nice job, well done.

After waiting in line to speak to a sales associate, where I was the only one in line, for 10 minutes, I was helped and told it would be no more than two hours to replace a single sensor in a tire. I waited for 2.5 hours before my vehicle was pulled in the garage. About an hour in half of the garage piled into the front office to eat pizza. I understand that lunch breaks n we ed to happen, but staggering breaks or working them into the wait time is the polite thing to do for customers. I was late picking my son up from school because I was not told an accurate time. Arrived at 11:35 in store. Was given keys to leave at 2:20. There is a big difference between the service at this location and other Discount Tires. Will never go back to this location.

Prices are good. Installation service is good. But they cant seem to balance a tire properly. Ive had 3 sets on our Lexus SUV purchased at this location. Were regularly bringing the car back in and sitting around for an hour while they re-balance. Then we go out on the interstate get it up to 70 and the front end is still shaking. Only 3 things can go wrong with a balance job. The guy doing the balancing hasnt been properly trained...hes been properly trained and doesnt care...or the equipment is bad or hasnt been properly calibrated. Its a recurring problem with Lombard Discount Tire.

These guys are awesome! Called to schedule new tires for the next day, since I was calling at thirty minutes before closing time. Didnt want to be "that customer" to show up just before closing. Corey told me to come on in, they "werent very busy", so I headed over. When I arrived the place was packed with cars and people (not very busy?), but every one of the guys greeted me with a smile. They took care of me in under thirty minutes and had almost everyone else cleared out when I left. Im so pleased with the level of service I received in this first visit.

New lifelong customer. To discount tire, dont change a thing... Your employees in the office are great, and the service men that worked on my truck did great work. To anyone considering this location, just know that its busy, and theres a reason; they have a dedicated customer base. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. This is a location that cares about their customers, they work hard [even] for the small things and it was a breath of fresh relative to experiences Ive had with dealerships. Give them a chance and you wont be disappointed.

Incredible service .. even after purchase! Found this location after price-shopping, and was pleased that they patiently answered all my questions and made me feel confident in the tires I purchase. But, what really made this a 5-star store is after-purchase! Always greets with a smile, and goes out of their way to take care of everything .. and what I noticed is its all the employees. Was happy as well, as fixing flats, checking pressure, rotations, etc. is all included and no pressure to give tips i.e., free is free. Excellent experience, and very happy!

Whats the point in making an appointment if youre still going to have to wait for over 1 hour for a simple balancing on a Tuesday? I arrived on-time, and then after 15 mins the rep says my car was "checked in" I assume that means service has started which it after another 30 mins I find out it doesnt. He then admits that they are "backed up" okay well that needs to be communicated to the customer upfront especially those who think they can get service during their 1 hour work lunch. Rep was friendly, but that means nothing if service is SLOW!

Great service and quick then around for 4 new tires. Kevin helped me pick out the best tires for me at the best price I could afford! UPDATE 3 MONTHS LATER Kevin did a great job helping out my dad replace his tires, very respectful. I was really impressed when I mentioned a rebate I filled out but hadnt received and Kevin took the time to call the rebate place and figured out the problem and made sure everything was in order so that they could mail me the rebate. I believe he and the team there show exceptional customer service

Horrible customer service! I waited in line patiently at this location it was busy so I was being very patient and another employee proceeded to see somebody else that cut the line that was already there. That being said when I asked the other employee is that your policy do you guys not have a line? He Shrugged his shoulders and say I dont know what to tell you. Im actually going to go to the Bolingbrook location this Discount Tire has always been very courteous to me and I will continue to go to this location and said of Lombard.

Came here at 8:45 to see about a leak in my back tire. Find out its my wheels and Im told that they should be replaced. My car is a 20 years old I understand. I pay for 4 wheels that are in stock, costs almost $500. Im told 2 HOURS LATER that they cant find the 4th wheel (that I already paid for) its currently 11:00 and Im waiting to get my car back for a change that i was told would be 25-30 minutes. TLDR: service is ok, timeliness and communication is poor. For a service thats already been paid for.

Every time I am there I have an amazing experience. There are not many places these days that have even decent customer service, but Discount Tire always has excellent customer service. I bought my tires from here 6 months ago with the warranty. When my tire blew out this weekend I went straight there the next morning. My tire was replaced at nearly no charge (just a small cost to transfer the warranty) in under 30 minutes. Lifelong customer here!

I took my car in to replace a flat tire. I wound up buying one pair of tires with plans to buy the other pair the next week. When i got my car back, I noticed the bumper was pushed up and away from the car body. Near as I can tell, the bumper and the quarter panel have both need to be worked on now. Of course they refused to take any responsibility for it. I wound up leaving with a decent pair of tires, but also an expensive car body problem.
