I grew up in the area and Lewis has always been our familys go-to. I live downtown and wanted to send my parents flowers for their anniversary. My ex-bf used to try to woo me with flowers from 1-800-flowers and the like and it didnt work - not that it was the only reason - but as far as Im concerned, its not just the thought that counts! If Im going to have flowers on my kitchen table for a week, I want them to be captivatingly beautiful. Those from your typical online flower shop never even lasted a week, nor did they ever wow me upon delivery. Long story short, I had flowers delivered to my parents and they are so beautiful Im jealous theyre not at my apartment. I ordered them online and they called before preparing the arrangement just to make sure Id be satisfied. She told me everything they had available and asked my preferences to make sure I could choose from the freshest available flowers they had that day, like I would have if I had gone into the shop rather than ordering online. In my experience, online florists have no regard for whether the flowers in their arrangements are a couple days past their prime; theyre satisfied with selling a product that will look ok upon delivery and like shiz within 2 days - not Lewis. Hopefully Ill be able to figure out how to upload a photo so you can see the lilies that are the size of my head - actually closer to the size of my bfs large head. I apologize for my verbosity, but I cant say enough wonderful things about Lewis. Well worth the money - would you rather pay $60 for an arrangement that will last 2 days or closer to 10? Next time Im visiting my parents, Im going to stop into Lewis like my sisters and I occasionally do after a mani-pedi and a trip to Starbucks, just to browse whats in stock, pick up something nice for mom, and take it all in - and probably buy a nice little arrangement to brighten up my own apartment.

I had an appointment this afternoon with Lewis Florist to discuss wedding florals for my upcoming wedding in June. I do not recommend working with Lewis Florist, in fact I would beg you to stay as far away as possible from them. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by someone who I thought would want my business as I was today. All the flowers I said I liked were shot down; upon showing a picture of my wedding dress I was told that it was "busy" and that the flowers I want would simply not work. There are more professional ways to give advice on such a thing as making sure a bride will look good on her wedding day, but I was spoken to in a completely rude and condescending manner that made me feel not only as though I have no idea what I am doing, but that I have no taste. He kept pushing white lilies on me to the point that made me uncomfortable. I wanted color in my bouquet, the notion of which he clearly showed disgusted him. I had to leave the premises after twenty minutes, especially after being told, "well I dont think I can help you because I cant read your mind," well everything I had in mind I was told wasnt worthy of a wedding, so I was out of ideas, and feeling pretty small to boot. No one should be treated like that, especially over flowers! Just be professional and give your client what they want--he was incredibly rude and aggressive toward me; it became clear that he wanted me to have one particular kind of bouquet, and nothing else would do. Who conducts business in such a manner? Again, stay as far away from Lewis Florist as you can, please, for your own sake!

In a nutshell. Lewis Florist made my prom corsage with pink roses instead of white. When confronted, I found out that they were out of white roses so they had to redo it with another white flower. The "matching" boutonniere which was supposed to be white roses with a shimmer of silver sprayed at the top, was sprayed silver completely so it is possible the rose was not even white underneath...maybe that is why they sprayed it so much. They were supposed to hold on to the first pink corsage and let me have a choice since I was not so happy with the replacement for the roses. When I returned, they had sold the pink one. I mentioned that I was disappointed, the man (perhaps the owner?), pointed and said theres the door. I was not being rude or irate and in no way deserved to be treated like that especially in front of other customers. It was really unbelievable and horrible customer service (the ladies at the counter were very sweet)! Since then I read a few reviews given by other people and I found a couple of people that were also treated with complete disrespect. Does this man hate his job? Or people? Who deserves to be treated like that? Don’t use them or stop in and let them know why you will not use them!

If not the best, have been in many shops and this one tops any that I have been in. The presentation is top notch, the flowers are fresh, the staff is friendly, and know what they are talking about, its like walking into a showroom. If you get the chance stop in and stay for a while, it takes a while to take everything in. Beautiful flowers, nice gifts, and a friendly staff, its a great place.

Amazing Customer Service! I was so impressed....I had been to several flower shops in my neighborhood who were not able to deliver what I had picked out. So I called Lewis Floral, and they were so helpful! They helped me design the perfect gift, and even followed up with me about the delivery. What a great business, friendly and professional. I will be back:)

I am out of state and ordering flowers for a friends birthday. I appreciate Marcy making the transaction so easy! In just a few short minutes I was able to give her my order and it was done!
