My son purchased his dates corsage / wristlet fro Heritage House Florist for his prom at Hinsdale Central. It was absolutely gorgeous - the design, the ribbons, the extras were so beautiful to the eye. After he researched and looked at photos online on what to pick out, we first both went to a florist in Westmont. We were both disappointed as to what this florist was putting together for prom corsages compared to what we had seen online with other florists and left without ordering. We then went to see if there was another florist around and drove to Downers Grove and found the Hertage House - they had a large photo book with different styles for ideas and flowers to choose from. The florist then custom designs each corsage. My son shared his dates dress color and what he was looking for. The floral designer did an incredible job! The corsage was the one of the most beautiful at Hinsdale Central prom. If you are looking for special. unique and beautiful corsages or bouquets, this is the place to go.

Heritage House hosted a new concept last night... Wine, Dine and Design. About 40 of us had a great dinner and some beverages at a local restaurant, followed by a hands on floral design experience. We had so much fun! Heritage House provided the supplies, and Brenda walked us through designing a Spring floral arrangement. She gave us information on each of the flowers, and gave great design tips. We all left with a beautiful arrangement, an expression of our own creativity! Weve used Heritage House for over 15 years for birthdays, proms, shower favors, funeral pieces, etc. We have always been pleased with the arrangements, and the customer service! Owners Kathy and Rich are committed to making sure you are happy, and will work with you to design something to your specifications. Once someone receives a piece from Heritage House Florist, they are sure to become customers themselves!

When my friend picked up a boutonniere I ordered and brought it home, I was very disappointed to see it had 3 tiny little tea roses, about the size of a nickel, and no real greenery, just satin leaves. I took it back and said I would like a refund because I was disappointed in it. Cathy said they dont normally give refunds since I ordered it. I said this is not what I ordered. I was told there would be 2 roses and there were 3 and the leaves/greenery isnt even real.She gave me the refund after considerable discussion and delay. I thanked her for the refund and as I was walking out she said, "in the future, please take your business elsewhere." I was shocked at their low level of customer service/satisfaction. It was only $15 but with her behavior,she lost a customer. I purchased a beautiful boutonniere with a single rose and real greenery for $15 at another friendly florist!!!

Whenever we have any flower or plant needs for gifts or for our home, it is an easy choice on where to go! Heritage House Florist in Downtown Downers Grove. The owners Kathy and Rich are so nice to work with. They always make their arrangements and plants look fantastic. When it comes to Homecoming, Turnabout or Prom for our boys, they even know to have Dad or they just call Heritage House. When we go for pictures with all the kids before the dances, the wrist corsages from Heritage House Florist really stand out as superior in quality and size and they are stunning! Cant go wrong. They now even offer MAGNETIC attached Boutineers for the guys. No need for Pins and Needles when the girls are nervous as it is! Dont think twice...Call Heritage House Florist. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!!

Brenda was fantastic! I came in looking for a bridal bouquet for myself and my bridal party and a few small centerpieces... with a very specific budget. I decided to come to Heritage House because of the rave reviews and I wasnt disappointed. She worked with me, asked me what I was looking for and was very honest with what I could and couldnt afford. She was able to create beautiful bouquets for myself and my party and gorgeous centerpieces. She even showed me a rough draft of what she had in mind while I was in the store before I committed. I think I was in the shop with her for 20 mins or so. The process was painless and my flowers were beautiful the day of my wedding.

I was deeply disappointed with the flower basket I had ordered to be delivered to Modell Funeral Home. I ordered the Emerald Garden Basket for $72.95 ($92.95 with all the fees). The description on the web site said it was 17 1/2" W X 17 1/4" H and in a "distinctive willow rope basket". The actual size was 12" X 12" in a cheap straw colored basket that looked like an Easter basket from the dollar store. The plants were tiny and too small for the basket. I was embarrassed to have my name on display with the plant/basket. I called to express my disappointment and was just told, "sorry". I would not recommend doing business with Heritage House Florist.

Ordered a fall maple leaf cube arrangement. There were three sizes to choose from. Ordered the largest and according to the owner I guess I received the largest. Hate to see what the small looked like. Warning. Objects in mirror are smaller than they appear. Dont order off their site. Go in person whenever possible. Funny thing though, the item I called to complain about was removed from their website immediately, so maybe it was an FTD issue and they had received numerous complaints about the same item. Live and learn I guess.

You really cant do any better than Heritage House Florist. Their flowers are fresh, gorgeous, and last SO much longer than flowers weve received from any other store. Their plant arrangements, florals, and gifts are well-loved Welcome Home presents for my clients in their new homes - the compliments and thank-yous are overwhelming. I decided to write a review for the beautiful flowers that Heritage House artfully arranged for our wedding. We actually made a mistake when counting how many center pieces we needed, but it wasnt a problem when the owner of Heritage House jumped through some hoops at the last minute to get them done. They also personally delivered to Katherine Legge Lodge and set them up on the tables. Our wedding was a few years ago but I wanted to acknowledge the great service from the florist! Thanks so much!

Lovely flower arrangement that was sent to one of our colleague. She said she had never seen such a lovely arrangement in her life. They were gorgeous and she absolutely loved it and it cheered her up considerably. Easy to place order from New Zealand via email/internet and easy to communicate. Dont expect this florist to work with you on budget. She refused to give me a quote for a garland sans roses despite previously quoting me on a garland with roses because she knew it would be cheaper. She doesnt offer other ideas or alternatives. She wants it done her way and will not work with you to help you achieve your vision. Shes also extremely rude and defensive. The owners owe me an apology not a defensive reply.
