I feel that this above review was written by someone that clearly has some other issues going on and doesnt really know what classy and stylish clothes are. Its not the clothes labels that make a women look sharp, its how the clothes are worn with confidence. It doesnt matter if the clothes are from Forever 21 or "BCBG"... which I hate to knock on any particular label but since the reviewer choose to pin-point on these 2 particular labels both are chain stores and BCBG has an outlet mall... with discounted clothing items for last season. BCBG is in your Cosmo and Instyle Magazine- but I regret to inform this reviewer that its the new fashion designers that are stepping out onto the fashion scene that are thinking outside the box with new clothes that focus on the style and cut of clothes not just your classic colors on basic clothes which is what BCBG is known for basic fashion pieces. Secondly, Forever 21 is a trendy affordable retail store that stays current with the fashion trends and makes it easy for consumers to purchase these clothes that dont damage ones pocketbook. When you walk into Anew you will find a store filled with affordable items that range from all sorts of different styles that would appeal to wide age group and not just one group for shoppers, to women as a whole. Anew has so many different items such as jewelry, purses, clothes, and shoes for one to choose from labels upon labels and leave looking stylish and not breaking your wallet. Anew offers women a store to shop and find items that arent sold in a mass like other department stores where you find that sexy dress or funky top that has 10 other ones right next to it, at Anew you find one of a kind pieces to add to anyones closet to give you that extra edge that everyone needs from time to time to leave you feeling great when you have a fashion item that makes you look good!

Anew makes unfortunate use of a great retail space in Geneva. I was under the impression that the inventory would reflect a highly selective collection of consignment items - the word "discerning" is even used on the website. Unfortunately, it was difficult to find even one piece by what would be considered a "bridge" designer (a polyester BCBG dress was the closest find), and the racks were filled with budget clothing from Forever 21 and the like - pieces that are meant to be practically disposable in the first place. The inventory leaves much to be desired if Anew is to really put a new spin on the old consignment idea, as they say. Either the tri-cities more style-conscious women dont know that this place exists, or there is no hope for high-end consignment in the Fox Valley in the first place.

Brought in 4 handbags (3 Marc Jacobs and one Gucci) over 3 weeks ago. The girl who took them had the slightest clue what she was doing. I called weekly to see if they sold and kept being told no. Called again today and the girl said they werent even priced. THEN to top it off, she asked what I brought in. So now Im wondering what happened to my bags.

I have never had such an unpleasant experience or been treated so rudely at any other locally owned store in Geneva like I was at Anew. The manager was completely disrespectful and unapologetic after one of her staff made a major mistake with a couple of my dresses. The manager is a total pyscho and lacks any basic understanding of customer service.

Overall, walking into the shop - Its just a mess. Pricing isnt that good either for a resale shop, but what really got to me was the RUDE, RUUUUDEEE employees. They are not helpful. They are not nice. If I could rate this store with no stars, I would just for this one reason. My advice to the owner, hire a better staff.

I found this place great. I stopped in today just looking for handbags (I want to build my high end handbag collection) looks at a couple of them, despite the fact I didnt buy anything this time, they had a pretty good selection on Louis Vuitton and Gucci. I definitely recommend if u are into handbags and jewelry

Stopped in the store today for the first time and LOVED it!!! I came in with my daughter looking for a prom dress. The selection was fantastic. After trying on several beautiful dresses we found the perfect dress and a fantastic pair of shoes to complete the look! Thanks for a wonderful experience!!!
