Avoid Beverly H(mid 40s, long blonde hair, glasses) at all cost. The rest of the staff is great as well as the selection of reading material. I spent an hour in the store today looking for 4 books. I was only able to purchase one of the 4 due to some strange circumstances. First, there were 3 teenagers sitting on the floor with a half dozen books and a laptop sprawled out in the very back corner of the store where the fishing section is located. I could see "the orvis flyfishing guide" but couldnt actually get to it because they were blocking the entire shelf. Next, I looked up "into the wild" using their in-store computer. I made sure to click the "in store only" option in the top right corner of the screen. The map showed the book was in stock and located in the "nature" section. I review every shelf of the nature section three times but was unable to locate it. The last book I was looking for was a travel guide of Washington dc. The store has 5 or 6 different guides to choose from so I declined to get one as I hadnt done enough research on which one i wanted. That large of a selection is actually a good thing so that really isnt a complaint. As i was checking out I waited for beverly to ask if I had found everything ok but she didnt. I kindly told her maybe they should update the computer section because of the "into the wild" problem. She then told me that the system links to the internet and thats why the book was shown. I told her in detail, that I used the "in stock only" feature and the map feature to locate the book but it was not in on the shelf as the computer said it was. Her exact words were"Well i dont know then". I was taken aback that she didnt offer to help or have anyone help me try to locate it. I told her about the 3 teens reading si-fi books and discussing "the arc of gensis" on the floor; blocking the sports section. Her only response was to make the sound hmmf" and thats when I made my only rude comment. "if you are not going to help me give you $60-80 dollars of my money; i will just use amazon and save us both the trouble". If you use this location, take the items to the coffee shop to purchase them. The store itself has a relaxed atmosphere and is clean. The rest of the staff I have dealt with has been very helpful and friendly; avoid Beverly H at all cost. Time and date of transaction: 02/17/2014 1:32pm register:5 transaction:3081

I love Barnes and Noble. I use to buy every latest Nook devices. I buy a book once in a while and maybe even some magazines. But I have have a Nexus 6 which I use for everything including ebooks and magazine and news articles. So I use the Nook app once in a while. Their cafe is pretty decent. Love the red velvet cheesecake and their glass soda bottles as well. Overall, Its a great place to relax, grab snack, read a book or magazine, and surf the net as well, since they have WiFi. All of that included in one place is like Paradise.

I loved coming to this store until today. I was treated like some hoodrat at the checkout. I was going to buy two books and use a gift card to reduce the price down. I gave the cashier a gift card and then I used my debit card. It was declined two times and she told me to "Get out". Rude little cashier. She never gave me my gift card back. The heifer can keep my $6 gift card because my mom, my sister and I are NEVER coming back nor are we we going to buy books online since they allow people like that to work for customer service.

Rude cashier. The floor staff were very helpful and friendly, but when I walked up to the front to check out, she was very rude. I already knew about the rewards card you pay $25 for, so I politely said "No thank you" when she asked if I had one. She blew up and spewed off that saying "No thank you" before she asks the proper question was a HUGE pet peeve of hers. She works in retail, hell, I work in retail. Say "Okay!" and move on. Wish I had saved my receipt so I could properly report her to her manager.

This B&N has changed what I refer to as the great bookstore experience. Remember those comfortable chairs one could seat and read the book that most likely one ended up purchasing? Gone. Remember that great mound of new releases that welcomed you at the door? Gone. The emphasis is on selling their e-reader. People, if I go to the bookstore, I want to buy books. I would stay home for the e-reader. Please return my B&N to its former, great self.

I love the wide selection they have. I dont usually see much staff wondering around so you are not constantly asked if you need any help. One worker did interact with my daughter and I thought that was very sweet of her, most people ignore a three year old when they are talking to you. My little girl gave us both a good laugh.

I love this Barnes & Noble! The staff is very helpful and professional. They have a great selection of hard to find DVDs and have even ordered ones for me which lots of other store wont do anymore. Ive never had a problem returning things but then again, I dont wait a month either.

One of my favorite places to go. Good book selections, good staff, and the fact that theres a Starbucks with a seating area inside here just makes it that much better. I used to grab a book off the shelf and read for a few hours right there in the store.

Cool place to settle down and read a book. Ive been here several times to read and purchase some books. This place is better than the public library. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to go have a cup of coffee and relax.

A great place to look at books and games. The prices are way too high though on most things, especially the books. I would recommend checking Amazon, Ebay, or your local library before making a purchase here.

It is great to find A well-stocked full service bookstore in this day and age. It is a great place to get a coffee drink spend some time browsing books and leave with something you will really enjoy reading

This store has excellent WIFI service (speed). After it broke down, they got all new equipment. The people are quite helpful. But the chairs in the cafe need to be refurbished, or replaced.

One of my favorite places to go, ever. Bought books, got a drink from the cafe, and sat and read for an hour. Quiet and obody bothering you to leave.
