A gem of a bookstore tucked slightly away from the busyness of downtown Edwardsville, on the slightly quieter side of Vandalia. Were it for the beautifully done interior and the tasteful music selection alone, it would still be worth a visit; but the selection of books, particularly among the classics and YA fiction, is fantastic and very intelligently chosen and laid out, with many a pleasant surprise lurking among each bookshelf. Much more satisfying (not to mention lighter on the pocket) than going to Books-A-Million any day of the year. Go local!

This is a very nice indie bookstore. I love shopping local and supporting the community. The books are reasonably priced new and used, and the upstairs floor is $1 for hardbacks and $0.50 for paperbacks.
