I just went to Aldi with my 3 year old autistic son. I sat him down on the bar where you get to put away your things after you are done paying. I had a lot of things and my son kept running away. That was the only option I could think of at the moment. The sign didnt say anything about sitting (yes I realize they probably meant that too). Well,an employee told me to put my filthy kid down because people put their food there. He humiliated us infront of the othe customers because he said it really loud. Then like a coward he left to hide somewhere. This is no way to treat customers when you see that they are struggling. Why couldnt he approach me and tell me in a lower voice and not call my son filthy? As soon as I sat my son down he was well behaved and didnt try to get up or anything. The employee is a young white man. I bet he wouldnt have had been so rude if I was a big white man like him.

Staff has always been super nice to me. Now that they hired a new security officer I will never step foot into that store again. Security officer was super rude and insisted numerous times to cut the lady in front of me as she was grabbing other items from the shelves. Each time he told me to move up he got closer to me and louder. Totally uncomfortable so I snapped on him. Security officers are not store managers they should only stop wrong doings of people. This is the whole story in a nut shell and I left without my food because he would not leave me alone til I walked out the door. What happen to the other guy he was super cool I actually kind of enjoyed seeing the other guy. I travel 3 miles the opposite if I even stop at aldi now.

Love all the healthy choices and great prices. Remember to bring bags. Love that you need a quarter for a shopping cart because for sure people return their carts.
