Stopped by for a case of water and breakfast items after arriving in Chicago Sunday night. I entered the store just at midnight and began shopping only to be chased through the store by a young woman yelling "were closed" from the top of the isle as we passed at the other end. Granted the cashier had just announced that the store was now closed and I could have hurried up front but it was not even 5 after and the day of travel was long reducing my motivation. When I asked if I should just go check out with the items we had already selected I was told that the register was already closed. She took the food item and set it on a display and said "They can take care of this in the morning". Being ushered out of a store is not nearly as frustrating as watching this girl walk us our the door while yelling at her friend (64 guy) demanding that he stay and have a smoke with her. Such a hurry to get us out of the store to take a break was a kick in the teeth. Not the type of treatment I expect from an Osco, this is what I expect from a Wal-Mart which is why I dont shop there. Maybe times are changing for your staff too.

This is the closest Jewel to my house and I dont like it. Im not exactly sure why but I never have. The staff is nice is enough and they always seem to have what I am looking for but maybe its the mismatched tile on the floor or maybe its the weird half full shopping center its in or maybe its the fact it seems pretty outdated compared to the other Grocery Stores around me but something just rubs me the wrong way with this store.

This is not a full sized Jewel, but if youre looking for alcohol, frozen food, or some household basics you can find them here. The alcohol selection is like half the store, its probably the best place around for that besides the binnys 5 miles down the road

Just called the bake shop for a special cake needed the same day! They were super helpful and went above and beyond. They were much more helpful than the other location a short distance away!

New store clean, otherwise a nightmare. Deli did not use numbers so while waiting for deli, cart was stolen. Had to reshop for a lot. Time is money

Have had issues with the decoration of birthday cakes. There is also constantly water leaking from the refrigerated section which is hazardous.

Alright. Shelves only partially stocked. Not much selection. Some repair needed (like floors). Overall ok. Not bad, but not great.

After the construction it has turned into a joke no deli, meat market, bakery and no selection. What a JOKE!
