Overall a good experience shopping here. Most employees are friendly and hard working, yet, there are times when they are more interested in what their coworkers are doing than focusing on the customer. Baggers are hard to find at times and I have ended up bagging myself and even called the manager from my cell phone to break her away from an employee huddle to help get the lines moving. The cleanliness and presentation of the store is always good.

Bad cashier attitude at the store. The cashier was very bad attitude for service.HER NAME IS DEVRA. She scream and yield on my wife,because she take wrong baby food cans. And when my wife run to get right product,cashier DEVRA took different customer,let my wife wait for another 20 min. if you want shop there ,you should prepare yourself first, before you see cashier DEVRA. i hope manager will do something about this.

You have to shop smart here. Read their advertisements to know what is on sale. Check the produce before you purchase. Not everything is good like in the pictures. There is a great selection of kosher meat, cheese, and stuff from Israel. Check out the kosher deli section. Fried chicken, and grilled chicken is a bargain and already cooked. Easy meal.

I recently had to return a couple items and I didnt have a receipt, the mgr at the front desk flat out accused me of stealing. Not only did she say it in front of me but she said it in front of a line full of people. So unprofessional and so embarrassing!!!! I have never ever as an adult stolen anything!!!!!

This is a reply to Alexsanders review. If you have a complaint against the teller, why didnt you give a review on the Jewel website? They will actually SEE your review, although to me you come off as a pissed off foreigner who exploded on her for no reason.

My favorite Jewel Osco at North Shore. Professional and competent staff. Huge choice of fresh produce, meat, cheese, frozen food, kosher food etc. Many items on sale. Very clean and well organized store.
