I love supporting small business so when it was time for my sons school eye exam I immediately thought of this place since its down the street from my house and conveniently located at the Marianos strip mall. I called the day before and asked about their hours as well as if we could do a walk in or if we should make an appointment. I was told that a walk in would be best for a school vision exam. The next day I took my son in at 5:00pm (the shop closes at 7pm). Other reviewers have stated that there are a lot of people at the front counter and there were in my experience as well, about 3-4 women standing there. I approached the counter (no hello, no smile) and asked about the exam. The young lady who answered my questions said they were not doing exams any more. I asked if they close at 7pm and she said yes. I asked why there were not doing any more exams and she said because there were a lot of people already waiting. I looked around the room and there were about 3-4 families in the waiting area. A vision exam takes 15-20 min max (I have glasses and have had them my whole life so I have had quite a few exams in my life). I looked back the at young lady and she just stared at me. She didnt offer to book us for an appointment tomorrow or another day. I stood there waiting for some sort of customer service and after a few moments just walked out. I understand that they had a full waiting room but at least apologize and offer to make us an appointment another day. Sheesh. And yes the place is dark and the rug is dirty and worn as other reviewers have said. I will definitely not be back. I will look for another local optical place for our needs.

The place smells just awful, super warm in there, dark and theres only a few chairs...very unprofessional and outdated. All glasses are behind glass so you cant try anything on and theres not enough help there to assist you in it. The young receptionist I dealt with was pleasant but the older doctor was just awful to deal with. After waiting for maybe a half hour my children were super sweaty then we go into the exam room and my 2 year old was very frightened and the doctor told him to shut up after a few minutes mind you he was crying but he wasnt throwing a tantrum on the floor he wasnt screaming... he was upset to be in a hot dark room with a man moving big equipment on his sisters face that didnt even bother to introduce himself or even slow down, he was so beyond rushed, he made me feel very uncomfortable. I dont ever want to go back to this location. EVER Oh and I forgot this part, I asked him to write my prescription and he didnt put the "."s between the numbers so I just ordered some glasses online and theyre wrong!

After reading the reviews about this place I was nervous about coming here. This place happened to be one of the few in network with my vision insurance. The day I came I wanted to be examined for contacts I did not have my current prescription on hand, but that turned out to be ok. The wait wasnt long at all the doctor was so sweet and professional she was in such a great mood and very polite. I dont remember her name. She gave me a sample pair of contacts to take home and adjust to, and recommended I come back and order if they worked well for me. When I realized I needed a high prescription, she order another sample pair for me to use and get use to. I would definitely recommend this eye clinic. Had nothing but good experiences.

Have been a patient since I was a child, but today lost a customer. Greeted by the receptionist like I was a nuisance. Said they are done for the day, they close at 7 and we walked in at 5 and didnt offer an appointment for another day. Receptionist didnt seem to care, really said since all my family were patients. As a healthcare professional I am genuinely ashamed that this place has gone downhill. You always try to put a patient/customer at ease. Not make them feel like they dont matter.

I was very skeptical about coming to this place because of the bad reviews. I got there at 10:30, there were 3 people ahead of me so not to bad for being an early walk in. The doctor was so sweet, professional and very kind. I appreciate her answering all my questions. The receptionist name that started with a G was so nice. Overall it was a good experience.

Will definitely not recommend to anyone, visited this location for convenience but resulted on taking more trips overall. Glasses seem to be outdated and cleanliness seems to be lacking. I ordered glasses and received the incorrect glasses when arrived. Going to have to visit another location and pay out of pocket again since I cant use my insurance again.

This place is horrible its been a year and I still havent received my glasses ,talking about why are you just not calling , no Ive been calling and when the glasses came they shouldve been calling me PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND GO SOME WHERE ELSE

I got my glasses the same day. The exam was short and sweet. They accepted my eyemed eye insurance and I paid close to nothing for my dolce and gabbana frams, exam, and lenses. I am going back this year for another pair. I highly recommend them.

Say they are open till 7 but dont takw any clients aftwr 5pm. Most people work 9-5 and have no chance of making it in and weekends are ridiculously busy.have been coming here foe years first time i heard of this.SUPER DISAPPOINTED

Walked in and didnt have a problem, exam was pretty quick and received the glasses I ordered. Although my opinion on the customer service is that it does need improvement. A smile can go a long way :)

I always get great service and am always satisfied with the frames that affordable under my insurance plan. If something does happen to them throughout the year I can always stop in for a tuneup.

This place is old and out dated the Doctor seems like he is always in a bad mood.. I dont understand how this place stayed open with such horrible service.. Dont waste your money or time.

Indeed, the eye exam is short and the doctors are excellent with kids. I recommend this site not only because it has such a nice facility but also because they accept the medical card.

Worsr experience for eye exams ever . Terrible customer service. Everything is super outdated and carpet and chairs are dirty. Ladies on the counter are disrepectful.
