Avoid this store at all costs. The employees here have no concept of customer service whatsoever. I came to the store to buy some last minute make up for my out-of-town wedding. However, it closed an hour early to do inventory. That was a little annoying, but could be understandable. The next day, I had my fiancé go to pick up the item. He drove two hours to get to the store and was going to get there close to closing time so I called ahead to let them know he was coming. The employee I spoke to was completely insincere and "apologized" but said it was store policy to lock the doors exactly at 7 no matter what. She said that it was a safely issue?! to let anyone in off the street after 7 (because obviously 7:01 is when the creeps start rushing in) and that she could absolutely not stay open a single second after 7 (even though if he got through the doors at 7, he could dawdle as long as he wants). Okay. I know that I for one change into a psychopath the second the clock hits 7:01. My fiancé gets there just before 7, but forgets his phone in the car (which he needs because I texted him the description of the product). He is about to get his phone when an employee obnoxiously tells him that if hes not back by 7, they will lock him out. The whole situation was so ludicrous. Apparently, the store is allowed to close whenever it wants, but whenever it deigns to close, it will not let anybody in. Im sure if you were bleeding from your eyeballs and all you needed was to step in the store for a second to save your life, the employees would still insist that you cannot come in because its somehow dangerous (but obviously not dangerous a minute before!) The experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be back.

Mac products are fantastic, and this location is my favorite in the Chicago area. The make-up artists there so nice and easy to talk to about what you want for you face, thinking about skin sensitivities, complexion changes throughout the year (Summer vs Winter especially), and how much time you want to spend on your make-up each day. They also understand that their products are pricey and we cant buy everything at one time, and they have helped me prioritize my purchases. The next time you go, ask for Jody. Shes great.

Everyone knows how amazing MAC products are - but working with these colors and fun tools at this location is better than any other! This location isnt as rushed or cramped as department store locations. Every employee Ive interacted with has given great advice on color and demoed application tips. When I started working with a brush to fill-in and darken my eyebrows, one employee showed me her tricks while I was looking in a mirror and she had me do the other side so she could guide me in my new skill!

Best MAC in the city. When I walk in I am greeted so warmly and treated with kindness. I love so many of the employees there, they have great knowledge for the product that they are selling. I never feel like Im just being told to buy something without an explanation as to why the product would be good for me specifically. Jodi helps me out a lot when I am there and she is always wonderful and completely honest, which I appreciate

Level of friendliness is really hit and miss here amongst the staff. Ive had some folks who were helpful and went the extra step, others who act very inconvenienced by me. I did buy an eyelash curler here (was $24 I think) and it is by far one of the best Ive had. Like many, I used to just pick up a mid-range one from Target, but within a year or two theyd always break.

Love Mac products but this is one of the rudest staffs I have encountered. I went in to use the recycling program to get a free lipstick and when I told the clerk that and she heard I wasnt interested in getting anything else she was dismissive and didnt help me find a lip shade or even speak to me agin. RUDE... Go to the one on mag mile they are way nicer

The customer service is a little hit or miss here. I do LOVE coming to this location though. Overall the staff is Great and told me about a system that records your purchases so that you know what shades you already have not to duplicate so I don.t need to carry my entire make up case when I purchase new shades.

Micheal Zuniga is amazzing! Definatly try to get in when hes working. Perfect application of make up and will make you laugh your pants off. The whole staff is really nice but I come from Michigan to shop here and if Im going I make sure Micheal is working when I go! :)

I can not tolerate this location. I was literally rushed out the store and followed throughout every section. I felt like I was being stalked. So ladies beware of an older lady who works there. She will stalk your life.

When I always come here, the staff always greet me with a big smile and they are always helpful.This is a great option if you dont want to deal with the rush that happens on the Water tower location one.

their colors are nice, cool, modern and trendy. packaging is very hip. like their recycling program. always have the most up-to-date colors. lipstick and eye shadows are their best products.
