The atmosphere in here is depressing. I was stuck with customer service for about an hour because they could not find my Ship to Store order. Instead of taking accountability for the mishap, they just played this game of "its someone elses job". They paged this Jocelyn person to look for my order, and she never responded. Finally, they flagged her down because she happened to be walking along nearby. Meanwhile, at the customer service desk. The representative did not have an explanation as to why my order cannot be found. He just said that Id have to wait. Then, he started having a conversation with a customer behind me (who he obviously knew). Giving her a hug and sharing information about who passed away in whos family and who has what type of medical problem. I didnt want to stand there awkwardly, so I told him i would come back and shopped around the store twice. 30 min later of no results and i told him to give me a refund. And again, he called two different people and made me wait again. He needed "a copy of the order" to be printed out. So he flagged Jocelyn down, and then I had to wait again for her to take her sweet time to the back. Someone who looked to be a supervisor stepped in and I waited to get a refund. However, she walked away to the caged to check again for my items for 10 more minutes. I gave up. I left and just got a refund through ten more minutes of phone call to Customer Service.

Very old and somewhat dirty. Fruit flies all over by bathroom area. By the little Cesars soda machine it is infested with the fruit flies. NEVER TOILET PAPER IN THE BATHROOMS. CASHIER HAD A HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND SOME ONE TO HELP YOU ON THE FLOOR. THIS IS THE REASON WHY ALMOST ALL KMARTS ARE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. Also they had a homeless man that was digging food out the garbages. When i told security the man said yes he has been there for many hours. I told the security man that this was a place for business and he has every right to kick him out after loitering more than 6 hours being there. I think better management is needed if not this place will not survive for long. Its a shame how the business is being ran into the floor.

Filthy inside like a depressed thrift store, but priced highly for everything but little bits of plastic crap. I live 6 doors away but almost never come here and walk a mile to Target instead. I can go inside and take only 5 mins looking for what I want on their gross shelves, but when I want to check out I have to wait in line for 20 minutes because they are asking people buying a bottle of soda if they want to open a sears card, then after I finally get checked out the register asks if you want a receipt, I say no... and then they have a security guard at the exit demanding your receipt to get out of the store. This place is being run in to the ground by mediocrity and plain incompetence.

There are so many problems with this Kmart store that listing all the issues would take too much time. Here are a few problems: messy store, inventory that doesnt match their online order system, probably the worst customer service desk in the U.S. (staff obviously not trained, incorrect refund when they know how to process a return, order "ready for pickup" that is not ready at all, lack of knowledge regarding their ShopYourWay reward program (which is honestly quite complex), long waiting lines), unhappy staff. The store and the staff give the impression that they are in liquidation mode and going out of business. It is really sad to see how low Sears/Kmart has gone.

I was in Kmart and whent to the toy area and there was a offer in the toy area where they say hot weels buy 1 get one free.I grab hot weels for my kids and then this América Lady said u cant have the hot weels because ur Hispánic and then she said u cant have them. I feelt discriminated and my kids cry because they did not had there hot weels. People if your African América or Hispánic DONT GO TO KMART BECAUSE THEY DONT LIKE US. The mánager said we dont care of the África América and Hispánic.plz . Dont go there they dont care. There

At this location is the worst place ever one time I went in there purchase something and I asked the guys they can have somebody help me to get to my car and it took about 20 minutes so I am doing it myself i give him a second chance. I thought I lost my keys so I asked one of the ladies that work there if anybody return any keys it was a rude attitude she told me to go in front and ask. She could have just call somebody on the walkie talkie and ask instead of having a bad attitude so I would not recommend this location to anybody

The worst experience ever. Tried to return a duplicate Thomas the train toy without a receipt and a toddlers Thomas the train pajama with a receipt. No dice on either because i could not provide a shop your way phone number. The items were gifts and would have taken a store credit just to get my son something different. What a joke of a store. I will never purchase anything from kmart. Cant wait til their out of business. Next time treat your customers better. Merry xmas!!!

So I decided to start doing lay away to get all the things I need for my children, especially during the school year, and Christmas! I made my lay away payments on time and always put down more than what was required, so on the day I decided to pick up my items, only to have them say "we cant find your box" was beyond upsetting, its no way they lost my items, along with 2 other customers

Kmart I brought a Serta bed and when I check out I was charge three times and the manager promise me two days it will be back and she paid my late fee from my bank !! manager val is awesome she really cares about me I will invite all my friends and family members to shop at Kmart , Val understand true meaning of customer satisfaction she made customer for life

I called looking for an item and the employee on the phone was very rude with me. Im calling looking for an item to make sure they have it on stock her stupid remark do you know what it looks like ? Is it in the sales paper I dont know .. put me on hold for a long time to go look for it which I can guarantee she didnt look ... horrible job to this kmart

This store represents basically everything bad about Chicago. Really disorganized and messy store, unprofessional and rude employees, and lines a mile long. Dont even dare go to the customer service desk- it is MAYHEM there everytime Ive been there! Im pretty sure the management doesnt give a spit about how this store is run

They have two cashiers and twenty customers....long wait. Cashier engaged in Speaking Spanish with a customer who works for City of Chicago OOEM....why cant I get a job I asked....she told the cashier she know alderman Schwarz....really? But I speak English....I hold a degree and nepotism wins again in Chicago.
