I absolutely hated my experience here. I took my galaxy s4 in to have the glass repaired and they burned part of my lcd leaving a dull spot on the screen, the glue was literally pouring out of the edges and sides of the phone which lead to warping of the frame. I promptly emailed the CEO who informed me that he is sorry and that they would repair the phone again free of charge. The 2nd time I received my device back, the digitizer was damaged and the phone was clicking randomly even when the phone was just sitting on my desk. It was no longer usable as it would click and open/close apps randomly even when I was trying to use it. Forget typing anything!! The 3rd time I went in to the store the employees were very rude, they were trying to convince me that I was using my phone incorrectly which was very insulting. I was also told that they did the best job they could and one of the employees Chris scoffed at me and walked away. After the third repair, I was informed that they said that they gave me a new frame, and a new lcd. Instead, they gave me a refurbished frame and lcd. The top part of the glass was not flush with the frame, the bottom portion was sunken-in too far. Regular use of my phone led to a crack at the top of the screen because of their poor repair skills. The phone still clicks randomly and the warped frame and motherboard has left my phone still in very poor condition. I will never recommend this company to anyone nor will I ever return. I have never written a bad review about any company but I really felt compelled to write this one as I have a hard time believing all of the 5 stars they have recieved. If you cannot fix a cracked glass on a screen after 4 tries.. and leave me with a completely melted, warped, glue-infested device and poor customer service then I think it is rightfully deserved.

Ive been a fan and return customer of JCD for a while now, through two different iPhones. I have a terrible habit of dropping my iPhone a lot. In cases, without cases, it just seems to happen all the time no matter how careful I try to be. Most of the time, Ive been lucky to crack the back of my iPhone, and somehow, miraculously, the front glass usually stays intact! JCDs iPhone back cover repair is incredibly quick, painless, and inexpensive! I have had the back on my iPhone replaced about 4 or 5 times by these guys now, and overall, combined, it is still cheaper than any similar single Mac Store repair would be! Just the other day my luck finally ran out, and this time when I dropped my phone for yet another time, the front glass gave out of me, and shattered into tiny pieces, right around the home button. I called JCD, got a time and price estimate (which were both incredibly reasonable), and stopped by to get my phone fixed by these guys for the 20th time! In the hour it took them to make my phone like new, I ran a couple of errands and grabbed a quick lunch. As expected, my phone was fixed well, and quickly, and the staff were all very professional. I even got a discount for being a return customer (on an already pretty reasonable price)! Cant beat that. Highly highly recommend these guys to all of my friends and family all the time, and I recommend them to you, if you need any kind of cell phone repair!

I shattered my iPhone 3G S when I FIRST got it and I messed up the LED (back lighting) too. They not only fixed the screen the fixed the LED, but my phone was still not working. Come to find out it was because the battery was bad in the phone. They changed out the battery and the phone STILL did not work. They eventually discovered that the motherboard was damaged and I had to get a new iPhone. The owner, Matt, even personally came to service my phone because he wanted to make sure that there wasnt anything else left that he could do to try and fix my phone. Since my phone was broken and couldnt be fixed, he gave me a FULL refund because they felt bad that my phone didnt work after they tried to fix it. Thus, instead of me being out of $150+ and having to purchase another phone on top of that, they FULLY refunded the money and I was able to use that towards getting another phone. If you want to go somewhere where they actually CARE about providing STELLAR customer service, Jet City is the place! I referred EVERYONE at my job to these guys and I will ALWAYS use them! Even if I move out of the city of Chicago, I will STILL have Jet City fix my iPhone if need be because they will fix it if you ship it in. Thanks Jet City for your AWESOME services! I highly recommend them! They are AWESOME and PURE professionals at what they do!

My Tmobile insurance wanted a $175 (deductible) to replace my cracked, 2 month old, Samsung Galaxy S4.....so much for insurance. JCD Repair was the only, local repair place I could find that was charging $99 (others were $199 or higher). The reviews for JCD were excellent, so I called made an appointment for 3 days later. Small, relaxing office in Lincoln Park, laid back, personable staff took my phone and told me to return in about 2 hours. The office had a steady stream of clients while I was there. I was slightly concerned about the quality of repair, but I had nothing to worry about. Two hours later, came back, had to wait about 10 minutes while the screen continued to dry. I grab a delicious, free, Keurig coffee, couple pieces of chocolate, sat and chatted with the guy behind the counter while I waited. Another guy came out, friendly and outgoing, handed me my phone and....WOW!!! I swear it looked better than the original, so clear in fact I was worried it wasnt dry yet. They told me they had a very unique process to replace the screen and it was completely dry and ready to go. IMPRESSED with both service, atmosphere, quality and cost!! JCD Repair is fantastic, would go there again without hesitation.

I dropped my iPad 3 days before the Memorial Day weekend. It shattered and I was going out of town. I googled where to get my iPad fixed and for a reasonable cost and Jet City was the first to appear. I checked them out, along with reviews and emailed right away. My main concern was getting it back before I went out of town (otherwise I would have waited and dealt with a busted iPad for a few days). The email response was pretty immediate and I was promised, at no extra cost, I would drop it off Thursday evening, after work, and it would be done by Friday evening. So I dropped it off with no hassles about 6pm that Thursday. By 1pm the following Friday I already received an email back stating that it was fixed. The guys were super friendly, the fix was fast and clean and everyone was responsive via email (I had a slight concern after I got it back and they were very helpful). IF I ever break a device again, I know I can count on these guys to not only fix it perfectly, but do it quickly, for a great price and with great customer service. Thanks SO much!!
