In an economy where we must nurture whatever mom and pop type business we can, I can endorse Skylight Books wholeheartedly. Ive been a patron for years, so much so that, although I live on the West Side of town now, I make the trek to Los Feliz to purchase books from Kerry Slaterry and her staff and feel good about it. The store is not a cardboard cut out, the inventory is well chosen and, finally, the store and staff are activists in and a credit to the community.

Being a campus bookstore, its natural to find things to be over priced. However, in regards to containing all the textbooks youll actually need for your courses, Ive never had any issues. Its rather convenient and has a nice collection of books, in addition to IIT gear. Definitely worth getting a book from, or, at the very least, purchasing something to represent yourself as a proud Hawk.

It is nice and organized. Owned by Barnes and Noble, so its nice. It has all the materials any IIT student will ever need, which includes supplies, books, clothes, and other gadgets.
