Quite possibly THE WORST customer service and uneducated staff I have yet to come across. This morning 4 different members of your staff gave me FOUR DIFFERENT stories about the delivery of special order my mother and I had placed. These must have been magic windows considering they were: on a truck, not on a truck, not scheduled, and on another companies truck ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Not only that, but when I was finally able to speak with a member of MANAGEMENT, I was informed about how this was " a communication error on my part." And tried to validate the run around I had been given. On top of this, they told me that their "delivery drivers do not unload items." REALLY?! So, what you are telling me is, that I need to hop up into your box truck, and unload windows, casings, and lumber myself? What if I ordered a refrigerator? Im sure all 128lbs of me could beast that right off the truck. smh. Safety first, im sure unloading windows would have worked out REALLY great considering my lack of coordination. But I really "appreciate" the "courtesy" of "pulling an employee off the floor to unload" for me. PLEASE do us all a favor and re-educate your staff on how to properly find, and relay, CORRECT information to your customers instead of LYING to them simply to appease them hoping that the problem magically disappears.

Its illogical to have only one cashier station open for servicing while there are plenty of employees wandering around talking to each other, looking at the line thats 10-12 deep . The front operation of this particular HD [Champaign, Illinois] has always been POOR! - the layout is claustrophobic, the lighting is uninviting. I took my time to select the product and wanted to get out with my purchases to find looooong line and it was not moving due to some kind of problem w/ one customer. I nearly dropped what I had in my hands when I wandered over to the greeter and asked if there is another register ...yes, he said , at the other end of the store [where no one goes]. Another 1/2 mile of walking!! . Well I went over and its a self service station - well hidden from any one who may want to get out fast! WHY would a store put fast lanes where there is no TRAFFIC??????????????????? And slow checkout where theres a continuous jam of customers???? I know this because I was there the day before to get a few things and the lines were quite long too. HD is in a SERVICE category....DO A BETTER thorough JOB SERVICING from IN the door to OUT and youd make more money, people will come back. This way I dont think Id go back unless no one else has the product I need.

The staff are very helpful even though I didnt purchase anything the day I came in. I came in last week looking for some Christmas lights I saw on sale for a DIY project but unfortunately the website didnt tell me how many were in stock. I wrote down the store sku number for the staff when I called or came in. I did try to call them but no one answers. I have blue tooth in my car so I remained on hold for their lawn and garden department for an entire 15 minutes (the time it took to get to my car from my office, heat it up, and drive across town to the store). By the time I got to the store still on hold I just hungup and walked in. They werent busy so I didnt understand why I couldnt get a hold of anyone. Either way I flagged down an employee since Im not familiar with Home Depot as I usually go to Menards for most home improvement items. I showed the sku, they looked it up on their telezon and computer and we went in search of the lights. The inventory said there was only 1 which with my knowledge of working in Inventory at Walmart I knew they most likely didnt have any left. We couldnt find any but I greatly appreciated the employee helping me. Very pleased with the quality of customer service!

I really cant find many redeeming qualities about this Home Depot. The customer service is dreadful, (if you can actually find anyone working here), they only have 1 checkout lane so the wait is usually very long, the layout of items in the store doesnt follow any logical pattern. Worst of all, they close down entire aisles with metal gates at each end during business hours for stocking or something, and it always just happens to be the one aisle that I need something from when Im in a hurry. If Lowes and Menards can get by without shutting down whole aisles during business hours why cant Home Depot? Its tempting to go here for a quick trip rather than drive a few extra minutes out to Menards, but I find its almost never worth it as I end up going to Menards anyway.

I ordered online and chose store pick up so that I dont have to deal with my toddler while I look for items. When I went to pick up , not only they gave me a wrong item (way cheaper one), they could not find what I ordered after making me wait for 20 minutes.... So I returned? cancelled? my order and that took some time too..... I ended up spending 30 minutes when it was suppopsed to be quick and easy ( so what they claim) process.. with not so friendly worker.... I dont think I will ever order products from them again...

If youre at this Home Depot and are in need of help, go find Lloyd. Hes very knowledgeable, and if you need help fixing or making something, hell make it happen. I needed an unusual part to fix a chair, and since none of the hardware stores seemed to have it, he custom made me a piece that works just as well. I havent had a chance to see what the other employees are like, but if you want excellent customer service, go find the man in the wheelchair.

I came into your store on 7/7/2015 to purchase nails because i wanted to help my dad build mysister a swing in the backyard. I came across your employee by the name of Kwanna. She stopped what she was doing to help me out and i found the correct nails and hammer to build my sisters swing. Very helpful and engaging. My mom said make sure you comment to their website because she spent 20-30 helping us as well as other customers.

This place is a complete joke. We really liked some carpet they had so we ask for so information on it. They said ok we will get you some help, this is in the evening and they where not busy at all, 45 minutes later we walked out. We thought we would try again 2 weeks later thinking it was just a fluke. Ha Ha where we wrong. Same story, absolutely NO help. We will never go back. Ever!!!!!!

I have had a lot of great experiences and customer service here. They even custom ordered a product for me and didnt charge the extra "pallet fee" that many hardware stores wouldnt typically do. My favorite part about home depot is that it will tell you the specific isle and bin number online, making it quick and efficient to find things in the store.

Home depot is like my kid in a candy store. I love going here for anything for my house inside and out.The people here are always friendly and ask me if I need help several times before I even leave. I am comfortable spending my money here because Im not just a number like the other stores. Thank you ! I will continue to shop here period !
