I came by this morning around 7am for service. I stood at the desk for a few moments before the lady at the computer looked up irritated and said, "yeah?" I asked her if she could look up an order from a couple of months ago for me. I gave her my phone number to look up the account. She said, "Well theres like 4 accounts here do you know which one it is." Clearly irritated. I said yes I know which one it is. Then she responded, "did you buy it at this store?" I said I did not. She said in an irritated tone, "well sometimes we can look it up and sometimes we cant." I provided the account, a job name, and timeframe of when we did the job. To my knowledge this is why we provide a job name when we make purchases, so in the event we need to look up something we purchased for a past job. I did not think I was asking her to do anything out of the ordinary. If I was please tell me? This is a service you provide correct? I have had an account with Sherwin Williams for over 20 years and have never had a problem having an employee look up a past purchase for me. After a very short few seconds she said, "theres nothing here, i dont think you purchased anything under that name." Again, she spoke in an irritated tone, without looking up at me. At this point I chose to leave and proceed to another Sherwin Williams because I felt like an inconvenience to this lady and I didnt want to react and say something I would regret. The Sherwin Williams I went after this one happily and easily found the order with no problem, with the same information. I only write this because I was in the service industry for a long time and felt deliberately disrespected. I am not a difficult customer but this employee got under my skin. I have never written a negative review before but I will not return to this store and will be calling my paint rep to share this information. I was not expecting a lot but I was expecting to be treated kindly. I tell you this to simply bring it to your stores attention. Maybe I just caught her on a bad day but she came across extremely passive aggressive, mumbly, and annoyed. This has not been my experience for the most part with Sherwin Williams so I will chalk it up to a tough day.
