First off I called 4 days before my 18th birthday, I was very excited to finally get a tattoo and couldnt wait any longer, Paul was the one to answer the phone and was extremely polite and made me feel very comfortable. I came in to the shop that same day I called with my design idea and where I thought it would go on my body, after an hour of talking to Paul I felt comfortable that he knew exactly what I wanted and I was more than happy with the price he gave me. Needless to say when I came in yesterday and saw the finished design in his hands I almost cried, Paul not only saw what I envisioned but he made it so much more elegant. This was my first tattoo and Paul made the whole experience very relaxing and comfortable (even though I had two of my friends in the room too!), he stayed professional and didnt mind my friends keeping me company. After about 3 and a half or so hours I have the beautiful tattoo vision I saw in my head on my arm, I was very overwhelmed with joy and was proud to show off the tattoo Paul did to the other tattooers. I got exactly what my money paid for and I cant be any happier. I can guarantee I WILL BE BACK for another tattoo when I have the money because this shop is just amazing. I will be showing off my tattoo as much as possible and I just cant get over how beautiful it is. THANK YOU SO MUCH PAUL!!

My experience at Permanent Ink Tattoo has been positive from the first minute I walked in the door a few weeks ago. My artist, Paul De Angelis greeted me and immediately made me feel like part of the Permanent Ink family. I had a general idea of what tattoo design I wanted to serve as a cover up of a twenty year old crap tat right on my chest. I showed Paul a pic that I pulled from the net showing what I had in mind. I wasnt in a hurry and we decided to take a couple of weeks to let Pauls creative juices flow. Paul created an original design based on what I wanted using the pic as a guideline. The cover up at 3" x 5" wasnt easy, but Paul made it look easy. Pauls actual tattoo not only covered up the existing mistake, but extended up and over my shoulder, the final tat being over 5 times bigger. I am proud to already be showing off my tat even though it is still only 48 hours old. People are now asking NOT Why did you get THAT tattoo?, but WHERE did you get that tattoo. I can proudly answer by referring them to Paul De Angelis at Permanent Ink Tattoo.

PISSED! Drive 40 minutes to a shop that was closed an hour before their website and voicemail says! Having a TERRIBLE migraine I decide to give the Daith Piercing a try. I googled piercing shops for reviews (and late hours, I had just gotten out of class, Im a graduate student) the reviews and hours of operation pleased me so I called around 8:30 to see if they were available, no answer ( however the voicemail says if you call between our hours of operation and we dont answer were either doing a tattoo or a piercing) their website also said walk-ins welcome. So I proceeded to drive 40 minutes to the tattoo shop only to find out that it was closed with no explanation on the door other than that they "open at 12 PM." I figured maybe he went out for a quick snack so I waited another 30 minutes and called again no answer ! THAT SUCKS, waste of my time & gas & my head still hurts ... lost a customer!

This is definitely the coolest tattoo parlor in Clarkston, GA the atmosphere is awesome and really laid back. I just got my first tattoo done by Andy and my second one done by Paul, each artist has a private studio where youre not display if you,re getting a tattoo and I was completely comfortable. They are true professionals, They gave me excellent advice about the placement of my tattoo and life...They also have interesting conversation that will definitely get you through the pain of the tattoo. They also gave me great advice and tips about taking care of my tattoo, the right products to use, etc. The shop was very clean and everyone was really nice, this shop is AMAZING!!! I will definitely go back for more artwork I need. All in all I recommend this shop to anyone in the Stone Mountain and Clarkston area and especially Andy and Paul to everyone. =)

Let me start by saying that customer service is a very big deal with me. I sell wedding gowns, and its most important to work well with your customers, even if you arent able to provide exactly what they need at your shop. My sisters and I were intending to drive from Knoxville, TN to get tattoos at this shop, but unfortunately it didnt work out. Now all that said, the manager, Paul, is absolutely amazing. I spoke with him at length over Facebook, asking questions about pricing, design, tattoo law (one sister is a minor), and he was prompt and friendly to answer them all. He even did some digging, and gave me a recommendation on a shop in another state! Now that is spectacular. If and when I choose to get more ink, it will be worth it to make the 3+ hour drive just based on this experience alone.

A friend and I found this place after plans on going downtown to get a tat fell through... We got there before it opened and waited.. I actually Googled the place and seen some amazing reviews so I felt a bit better about coming... Lol it was our first tat so we were a bit terrified however Paul was amazing and he made sure we got what we wanted and even helped to bring it alive!!! We are both sooooo happy our original plans fell thru and my friend is sure she will be getting her other two from here as well.. I told myself only 1 but I love it soo much I may have to change my mind!! One thing for certain if ever I get another I will definitely be getting it here and I will suggest this place to any and everyone that wants any.. The vibe was wonderful and everyone I met were really great! Thank you

This place, Jared, Paul, Stacy, & Chris (havent met him yet), are BOMB! They really make you feel comfortable, hella cool, and down to earth. First I met Stacy, she does piercings. Very professional, knowledgeable, great personality! She pierced both my nips lol, and it was quick, once Im able to change out the jewelry, she told me to come back to her & shell do it for free. Jared, tattoo artist, he did my tattoo on my upper back, maaaan he was fast! It turned out AWESOME! Definitely going back to him. While he was doing my tattoo, we talked about everything from astrology to growing up in the hood lol, it helps to keep your mind of the pain. These guys are the best! Check them out!

I had a spur of the moment desire to get a spider web tattooed on my elbow. I called Paul at Permanent Ink and asked if they took walk ins and whether or not they had an opening for work to be done. He told me to come on down. Everyone there had great personalities and were very fun and laid back. The equipment used is awesome. Definitely the most quiet gun that has ever been used on me to date. Everyone to me the elbow hurts the most to get ink on. I didnt have an issue with it possibly due to Paul having incredibly light hands while doing his work. Thanks alot guys! Next time Im back in Atlanta, GA Ill be stopping in for more work. I highly recommend this shop.
