I used Power PC for the 4 years. I had good reliable service and even purchased a desktop computer from them. Everything was going well until I encountered a virus. I took the PC in to Power PC to have the virus removed and they told me they fixed it. When I brought it home, it never worked as fast as it had in the past. I had assumed that the virus had done irreversible damage and so I just lived with it. As it got slower and unbearable, I was fortunate to meet Karen Koch from CompassPointz who fixes PCs remotely. For $50, she scanned my computer for viruses (there were none), set up a weekly disk cleaner tool to prevent the slowing and she then told me that my major problem is that I only had 1 Gig of RAM and needed 4 Gig. I purchased this computer from PowerPC with 4-gig of RAM! When I first bought it, I remember that it ran lightning fast. I called the owner of PowerPC about the 1 Gig in my computer vs. the 4 gig that I purchased...and he said he had no record of my computer purchase and also admitted that his guys sometimes exchange the RAM out when they are de-bugging a computer. I had to go out and purchase 4 Gig of RAM for $30 but now my computer runs with lightning speed. I endured 6 months of misery with a terribly slow computer...My biggest complaint is that PowerPC didnt have any record that I purchased a $550 computer from them and They werent willing to make good on the $30 4-gig of RAM I had to re-purchase. Now I use CompassPointz for all my PC support. If I need a new computer, Ill go to MicroCenter where they have treated my husband like gold.

Walked in with a PC where I had lost the configuration for my RAID 0 in BIOS. They quickly got the drives set up properly while protecting all my data and responding to my requests on the configuration. Even drew me up a road map to follow myself on an upgrade. In ten minutes all my problems were solved. They even helped load the PC back into my truck as I had my kid with me. Power PCs charges were a lot less than I expected and their service was immediate. Very, very, impressed!
