This store desperately needs to change with the times. Their policy of "half-off original price" for paperbacks is ridiculous. I found a beat up paperback there with the original price of $15.95 and asked the woman working there the price. She quoted me the "half-off" policy and I pointed out the poor condition of the book. Her response was, "I have to go by what my manager tells me." I then offered her $5 for the book. Her response was to, again, tell me she had to do what the manager said. I left without buying anything and looked the book up on a popular online bookstores website. Guess what? I found a "like new" copy for sale for... 99 cents. Needless to say, this store missed a sale and my money went to someone else. Im all for helping out small, local businesses, but the local businesses in question need to act like they actually want to sell something. Now I know why this place is filled with books and not customers.

This place rocks! I will never buy another book from a big chain bookstore again! The owner and her staff are SUPER nice, and theyll reserve books for you if you call or Facebook them. The owner frequently purchases new books in bulk that are really popular and sells them at a drastic discount, too! They also have a great used book exchange program. Love, love, love this place!!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection, and plenty of seating for those interested in reading before buying. One of my new go-to used book stores. Also, half of publishers price is more than fair for used paperbacks. Thats $2.50-$4.00 a book on average. For the instant gratification its WELL WORTH IT.
