Dr Gorlin is great and very understanding and patient. She answered all my questions and was happy to recheck my eyes when I explained concerns about whether the prescription was correct. My first visit I didnt wait long and the exam wss thorough. Ive never worn contacts so I wanted to try some coloured ones. My astigmatism measurements were not common so she explained that my script didnt come in colours. I was ok with that. They didnt carry my script in stock and the ones available for me were 3 month ones and they would be$1200 a year... Needless to say I declined. The lady helping me talked to the Dr and they found a suitable replacement in stock. They were awful. I couldnt see anything and had a headache within 30 minutes. They told me to give it a few days while my eyes adjusted. When I called back after 3 days, their system was down but they said they would call me back. They never did. I called every day for days. Now their system was up but because I didnt have thebox (the contacts were a sample pair) he didnt know if hed be able to find my script. That sounded like hogwash, but he said hed call back. He didnt. I called back a week later once my anger subsided and just scheduled another appointment for the Dr to recheck. Waited 45 minutes for the Dr... Not happy. She did recheck my eyes and said the script was slightly off. They still had to special order my contacts but now apparently they dont have a free sample pair. I had to pay first and if I dont like them theyll refund it. I didnt like that either. 2 weeks later Im still waiting for them to call to tell me my contacts are in. They said it would be 10 days. The staff was incompetent uncaring and unconcerned. If it wasnt for the fact that Dr Gorlin was really nice and I felt like she sincerely understood and addressed my concerns I wouldnt give them any more of my money or time. If somehow the staff can turn my negative opinion around when my new contracts come in, Ill go back next year. So far theyre not doing a good job.

I made my appointment for this year (2015), a year ago for both myself and my daughter when we were finishing up our 2014 appointments. Yesterday (2/26/2015 - 3:01pm) I received a text as follows: "Stephanie, Your appt. is at 3:00PM on 2/27/15 (Fri). Please call for apt changes. See you soon! (###-###-####, Total Vision)" At 9:55 am today (the day of the appointments), myself and my husband began receiving text messages that I/we need to call to schedule appointments for this year. They had cancelled both my and my daughters appointments without so much as a call. When I phoned, the man I spoke with said, Oh they cancelled it because you made the appointment a year ago, and they are now too booked to reset our appointments. During my first visit, I didnt care much for anyone except the actual eye doctor. The administrative staff were a bit unpleasant in my opinion, the "glasses specialist" didnt know the ins and outs of my insurance well, in my opinion they did not have a very large selection of frames, and there was a longer wait than I have ever had for an eye appointment between the doctor and the person who assists you with picking and fitting your glasses. I was actually strongly considering changing providers for eye care anyway, but when I got my appointment notification text, had decided to stay with them at least another year. I guess their lack of customer service and follow-up was the universe assisting me in going with my gut in the first place, and changing providers. I would not recommend selecting this provider. Moving to Sugarloaf Eyecare, I have heard good things about them from co-workers.

Dr. Gorlin charged me $150.00 for the office visit, and gave me eye drops to be used for 10 days. The eye drops didnt help at all, there were no improvements. I called the office after 10 days of using the eye drops, and they said that I had to pay another fee for the following up appointment, so Dr. Gorlin could give me another treatment. I refused to pay anything extra to what Ive already paid, since she didnt find the right treatment the first time. I went to see a different eye doctor who took care of my problem, and he told me that the drops prescribed by Dr. Gorlin had nothing to do with the problem I had. I feel like I was ripped off by Dr. Gorlin, because she refused to cooperate with me, and send me a refund for something she couldnt treat. In my opinion Dr. Gorlin and the office staff in Suwanee location are not professional. Therefore, I wouldnt recommend anyone to use Dr. Gorlins office, to get the same experience that I got.

Last year I bought glasses that had crystals in them but they kept falling out and after I returned them to be repaired the crystals fell out again and so I had to change frames. This year their selection was boring with most frames being over $200. I also had terrible customer service. I called up to request some information about my eye measurement to purchase glasses online and they gave me the run around about my information. 1st they gave me the wrong PD information on purpose and when I called back they changed their story to its not part of my prescription and then they changed the reason for not giving it to me to its illegal. Most of their glasses are over $200 and not worth it. I would not suggest you go there.

I made an appointment at 9:20 am on a Saturday for my two years old daughter. We arrived at the location 6 minutes late. When we came in there was not anyone waiting we were told that we are late 10 minutes and need store manager Kevins approval by Gail. Which he denied. I ve never seen anyplace this ignorant and not accomadating. I said yes we are late (a whole 6 minutes) even though we did online registration. ( so we did not have to fill any paperwork) they were so rude and ignorant. This was a routine eye control. If they were bothered to ask. I am sorry but you are in the wrong business. I am sure the doctors are wonderful. But you are as good as your store front employees.

My husband and I have been going to Total Vision since 2006 I think..we have been going there for forever! We absolutely love it there and have recommended the place to several friends, who have also come and loved Kristy, Rosa, and Dr. Gorlin! Every time we go we feel like family because they know our names, and even though my husbands takes forever to pick frames Kristy has always been so patient with him!! I had my first baby and they sent me a gift card!! They are amazing!! Ignore the last review!! This place ROCKS! the best stylish glasses ever, the wait is not long, and they have the friendliest staff!

The staff at Total Vision has taken care of all our eye care needs since it opened six years ago. From the moment you walk through their doors you feel as if they care about getting you checked in, getting you in for an exam from one of their two doctors in a timely manner, with help in choosing one of their many stylish frames, and checking out with filing your insurance. I would not trust anyone else with our eye care needs, and look forward to my annual visit with Dr. Gorlin, Kristy and the staff.
