DO NOT NEVER, EVER USE THEIR CONTRACTOR SERVICES FOR HVAC INSTALLATION!!! YOU WILL PAY THOUSANDS AND HOME DEPOT WILL NOT ENFORCE THE REBATES, WARRANTIES, AND/OR QUALITY OF SERVICES PROMISED!!! I was unfortunate to have used ARS Universal from getting a heat pump from Home Depot, and went through the following: 1) Was sold an oversized unit. 2) Spent ONE YEAR fighting with them to get them to honor the $100.00 rebate for the thermostat. Why one year? Because every time I called them I was told either to: allow more time for the rebate to process, that the salesman who sold me the unit no longer worked there, and that a supervisor would call me back. Well, that never happened. I contacted Home Depot and they were useless. For weeks I sent them copies of my contract showing they promised me two rebates and it wasnt until I contacted the Better Business Bureau, that ARS Universal finally gave me the $100.00 (well not really, at first they insisted I already got the rebate). 3) They didnt properly seal the opening in the walls that they used to connect the heat pump, so, a rat - yes a big nasty rat - got into my home and tore up holes in the walls, kitchen, food, and defecated/urinated all over my home. It took me several days to catch it. I, in the four years I lived in my home NEVER had a rodent in it until ARS Universal installed that heat pump. 4) The improper sealing/insulation of the holes in walls also resulted in my pipe bursting when we had the two cold spells in Jan-Feb 2014. I had mold and water damage. 5) And finally, the unit is leaking water. I just discovered it a day or two ago. I called them about 3:30PM and had to fight with them to get some one to come out there. He came around 11PM and wanted to charge me to replace the motor on my furnace WHEN THE MOTOR WAS DAMAGED DUE TO THE LEAKING OF THE HEAT PUMP THEY INSTALLED. Oh, and he was also so clueless as to why he was being called to my home and had the audacity to show me a text where ARS Universal said they were already called out to my home yesterday (Friday)!?! I told the technician to go outside of my home and write up an estimate (because I was so disgusted to have such a crook in my home at that time of the night - especially after all ARS Universal put me through) and he left without writing up the estimate. What a crook!!! So again, I have water damage, the unit has not been fixed, mold is growing as I type this and now the motor on my furnace is damaged. I tried calling them after the technician left and the calling service says I need to speak to the office tomorrow. BTW, I again, called Home Depot and they were useless. Im so frustrated and upset. I spent over $5K for this heat pump and it has brought me nothing but more expenses and damage to my home. And the only ones getting rich are ARS Universal and Home Depot - especially with all the money I have to spend in Home Depot to repair the damages to my home.

Ill give a star for the store itself, and the ability to buy lots of things I need here, but Ive had two bad experiences with installations that never happened, but should have. The first one was minor in comparison. I bought an overhead microwave at the store and asked for installation. The guy in kitchens swore that hed call me on Monday with information (I told him I hadnt had good luck with HD employees following up). He never called. After 4 months, I returned the microwave and got one elsewhere with installation. The 2nd incident was far worse. Id gotten an estimate for carpet and drove 7 hours from out of state to come get it done. When the flooring person couldnt find my order, I showed her the email confirming the order. She continued to search for 15 minutes, then asked to see the email again. My phone had died, so I ran (literally) out to my car to get my phone charger. When I came back in, another customer had come up and was asking her about tile. After 5 minutes, she turned to me and said shed just be a minute. She continued to work with that woman, going back and forth over to the tile, discussing the room, discussing the colors, then loading the tile for her, then continuing to discuss the tile project. After 20 minutes of waiting for her to get back to me, I left, and called around to hire someone else to install carpet, which made me lose 2 more days of work back in the other state.

Yes I agree with the rest of the bad reviews. The guy in plumbing is rather abrasive when you have an issue you cant figure out and youre sure youve accurately explained to him the issue. He will argue with you about it... Very few employees are actually knowledgeable about the products and proper product terminology. For example I asked where a "wire ferrule" would be and I was looked at with the most perplexed look... And I am younger (30) than the person I asked. What happened to being older and wiser?? Never let Home Depot send their contractors to install anything especially DELTA MECHANICAL they charged my card I was forced to keep on file with them even after I gave a different form of payment after install of a water heater. They charged my card 3 times and each time it was like pulling teeth to get anyone on the phone to fix it!!!!

You could not find one staff member on a non-busy friday afternoon when I recently came in to purchase stuff for my new home. When I did find one of the three staff members I saw in total they were incredibly rude to me when I asked a simple question excuse me, where could I find your larger trash cans... along with this the products werent organized so Id find something in one section expecting the products that accompany the items Im looking at to be there too, but nope half of the items hadnt been shelved in the correct location. Im going to go with the Lowes in the area. Theyre better staff, more friendly, and the layout is logical.

We had a great experience at this Home Depot. We were out looking for a cheap washer and dryer to take home ASAP because we have been without and kept getting turned down for financing, but Home Depot ended up approving us. We were able to get a much nicer washer/dryer pair than we thought. The employees were really nice even though we showed up at the store at around 8pm and really wanted to walk out the door with a pair that night. They set us up with financing, a deeply discounted, nice washer/dryer set, a truck rental, and got us out the door soon enough to get home, unload the truck, and get it back by closing.

This is by far thee worst Home Depot in Atlanta. Everytime i come here theres a problem. These people wont do a store credit without a receipt!!!!! Isnt that the whole purpose of a store credit?? if you dont have your receipt. .. This is crazy to me. Out of all days that i have returned items to this location without a receipt, they wanna act brand new. I will most definitely reaching out to the VP and regional manager for this particular store. Dont visit here.
