Slow, slow, slow, poor customer service. For starters there is always a long line for any register at any given time when you are trying to check out, and the sales associates move slower than molasses, it takes freaking forever to check out and this is not just this location but all the remaining JCP stores. My main issue I had today was ridiculous! I went in just to pick up an order I placed online and once I get in, I have to wait in line with all the customers making purchases, and there were literally 7 people ahead of me and of course the sales associates are moving slow as heck, I finally finally get to the register and tell the lady Im just picking up my online orders, and she gets my information and says she will be right back with my order. To make this brief, shes is gone for like 20 minutes to get my order which I only ordered 2 items, she comes back with only 1 item and tells me "the other item wasnt with it", so Im thinking are you serious! This is after I already had to wait in that long, slow check out line then to wait for her another 20 minutes to go get my items only for her to not be able to find it obviously, she gave me a credit for the item that mysteriously disappeared but my time was more than wasted and its insane to have customers who are only there to pick up and item online to have to wait in a long checkout line with customers making several purchases, terrible customer service to do that to someone who should be in and out the store in less than 10 minutes max just for a pickup!! I see why all the JCP are closing.

Walking in my mom and I were helped to the area we needed to be in, but as we needed more service as to where we could find certain items everyone would take their own time and be completely rude in the process. The first person who helped us showed us where to go and then just walked off to help another customer while my mom was about to ask a question about the product. The second person that I had to go up to twice to get their attention didnt care to help us at all she would walk off and help other people and when my mom went to see if she wanted us to follow she pointed her finger and raised her voice to my mom as if she was a 3 year old child and there were no can I help you today questions it was just staring and ignoring my mother and i. Service was rude and just plain shameful after we drove an hour just to go to this specific JC Penney I was in shock over the type of customer service that was presented to the public. Go at your own risk. Its not a friendly environment and you will not get the help that you need and deserve.

I went here on a Friday evening, and the store was so understaffed that half of the registers were closed. After the wait was taking longer than expected at one registar, we found that only one other one was open. The lady at this register was taking forever to ring people up, but we decided to wait anyway. We saw as other store employees in other sections either walked by, or just sat and watched without helping take care of the other costumers behind me. We it was finally my turn to checkout, she walked off saying she was going to get someone. She was gone so long I decided to pull out all of my tags so checkout would go faster, it didnt. She was so rude, and unwilling to do her job. I wont be coming back here anytime soon.

Fantastic customer service. I came in and bought a belt, and it was too big, so I brought it back in for an exchange to get a smaller one. I had ripped the tags off and didnt have my receipt, and they still were able to process it and get me a better size. Well it turns out the new size I got was too small. So a few weeks later when I had time I took it back again, and brought the tags, and they thankfully were still able to make it work. I think this is above and beyond what a reasonable person would expect. Also, if you go in to the mens department, talk to Daniel; he is always super helpful.

I waited about 45 minutes to buy a watch. The lady never bothered telling my boyfriend and I that it was going to be a few minutes. When we were attended, (Sue) she asked us if we wanted to have the watch resized. We said that it was a gift for my boyfriends dad. She then asked.."Does he live in the U.S?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Why would she ask that question? Those kind of questions should never be asked. She could of just said, "well, if it doesnt end up fitting him, bring him in to have it resized." I will never buy anything from there again!

Havent been to the mall in years and the last time I was there the dept stores had done away with all cashiers except at the exits. What a pleasant surprise today. Each floor had cashiers in virtually all departments, who all said hello when we walked by and also, when we asked, gave directions to where we wanted to go. This is the way it used to be. Congrats to JCPENNY for bringing back customer service the way it should be.

Picking up an online order should not be such a difficult thing to do. I called and called, got hung up every single time. Its like they dont care about the people on the phone. I took half a month for me to figure out where the hell my item is. This is the worst location and am not even shopping there. I could only imagine how terrible their in store experience is.

I went in today to find 3 Craftsman work shirts XXL and found only one. But, the assoc #1156 was very sweet and helpful. She asked what size I needed and said she would mention it to the person that places the orders. I appreciate her offering to do that.

I am very disappointed, shoe I ordered has not come in not even shipped.I have been given 3 separate dates for arrival.It,.s no wonder they are having problems.Shoes are paid for,no calls no nothing just wait til they get ready to ship.

It doesnt matter what jc penny you go to the customer service is always and I mean ALWAYS horrible! I had to wait 20 minutes with a total of four customers in front of me to purchase my clothes l. Horrible!
