I went to Planet Ink to get my first large tattoo. I knew I wanted to schedule an appointment with an artist as this tattoo was going to be extremely visible and quite larger than my other tattoos. Planet Inks website offered a lot of information on their artists and had a fair amount of tattoos in the portfolios for me to view. I ended up choose Richard Parker. Best decision ever! I walked in and showed him the tattoo I wanted. Unlike other tattoo places I had been to before that stated they only do original work, Richard was happy to take on the task of creating a beautiful tattoo of an owl that I had already had a picture of. I told him some edits I wanted to it and a couple of days later, he checked in with me while he was drafting it to see what certain things I wanted. I told him I wanted the same owl but he could choose the coloring of it as long as it had a lot of color. I was not let down when I came in for my appointment and saw the bad ass owl picture I chose along with the bad ass color palate that Richard came up with. During the tattoo, we talked and he constantly made sure I was comfortable. After 2.5 hours of tattooing, we were done & I left as one HAPPY customer. I would reccomend Planet Ink to anyone. The shop is clean and the people are friendly and Richard Parker tattoos there...what more could you ask for?!

Marcus. Premiere Piercing Specialist, huh? Fuckn idiot. Should stick to doing only tattoos. He doesnt have a clue. Put nose studs in a ear cartilage piercing. Three of them. Almost got embedded in my girls ear after her ear became swollen the next day. Luckily she caught it in time and went where she should have went in the first place, Lucky Draw Tattoo, and Ashley, a genuine piercing specialist, after a very painful process, was able to remove the studs and replace them with captive beads which are what should have been used in the first place. I also recommend you take a look around the joint if you still want this amateur to do anything for you. Cleanliness is not his greatest virtue. By far. Worst part of it all, he still got my money. Wish there was a way to sue his ass.

Lauren is hands down amazing! My sister and I got tattoos and they were detailed and on point! I really cant say enough about Lauren and truth, she got skills! Go check her out! i had no idea what I wanted but her patiences to my madness helped me make a lifetime decision that Im happy about. I do have to give a shout out to Marcus, i seen a tattoo he did and he does great work. And my hilarious man behind the counter, that I apologize I didnt get ur name but you made the minimal wait time worth it. You are hilarious If you are looking for clean, affordable, and good vibes. Then type their address in your phone and go see them. Thank you again. Im satisfied and cant wait when im back in town for some ink.

Racist experience: I spoke to an individual on yesterday who advised that they looked forward to seeing me when I walk in today. The thing is...I dont exactly sound the race that I am over the phone. I watched someone walk in...fill out a blank Paper with her information and she stepped to the side. When myself and my daughter walked in...there were only three people in there and then the guy Marcus at the front desk said "we can talk to you about your tattoo but we cant tell you when we can do. Were pretty much booked for today." With a sign on the door that says walk ins welcome. Smh. I guess you can walk in as long as youre not black. Its disgraceful that such talented individuals can be so ignorant.

Marcus Hardy did a beautiful water color for my wife a few weeks ago. She loves it. Yesterday my sister and I went in for the Friday 13th special. After signing in, we ended up waiting 5 hours because there were so many people (went out to dinner to pass some time) but when Marcus took us back at 1:30 am, he was so friendly and laid back that we laughed all the way through the process. If it says anything about his character, we were the 68th and 69th people he tattooed that day and he was still in a great mood and put us at ease. Hands down Marcus Hardy is the most professional artist i have ever dealt with and i will be going back to him in the future.

I got my nose pierced and it didnt hurt much but he just done it with out letting me see where he put the dot and its way too far back where u can barely see it and when i complained to them about it he just said "take it out and let it heal and we will repierce it for the same price". Are u serious??? I paid for something i didnt like and now i have to pay for it AGAIN ! Not happy !!

Marcus did a triple Helix for me that turned out horrible. First he used nose studs in a cartilage piercing which was way to small. Had to go to lucky draw tattoos in Marietta so Ashley could taper and change the jewelry. PAINFUL!! I would not recommend him to anyone. People please stay away from this place. Went in for a tattoo yesterday and couldnt be more pleased with the work. Every staff member was extremely friendly and the environment was super chill! Will, the tattoo artist, gave me a plethora of ideas and didnt hold back his opinions. This resulted in a beautiful tattoo, especially for a "first timer". Highly recommend!

Had a tattoo that boaty of the hiram shop did earlier in his carreer and came in to have it touched up.. not only did he do that he refurbed it giving it a whole new look and pop more then ever.. so if you are in the market for a new tattoo...touch up or cover up I highly recommend boaty or marcus at planet ink hiram...

I brought my daughter in to get her ears pierced for her birthday. The service was great, we were on our way very quickly, and everything was explained thoroughly. They do not use unsanitary piercing "guns" like at the mall, but sterilized, medical grade equipment. I would definitely recommend their services.

The shop is very clean and professional. After visiting several other shops we found Planet Ink. I let my daughter and my adopted daughter get their first tattoos here. Jamon is the best. For piercings nobody beats Ashley. Everyone is friendly and they stand behind their work. The only place I would ever go.

I met with Marcus today. He was punctual, friendly and straight forward. He didnt make me feel intimidated and answered all of my questions. Even the guy that greeted me was very friendly. As soon as I can decide on my tattoo design, Marcus will be my tattoo artist choice.

This place is clean and the staff was nice the person that pierced my nose was very good and informed me about how to take care of the area that was pierced.
