Had gone there many times before with no problems until I picked a particular set of frames but the lenses were back ordered. No problem. When they came in, I looked at them and the frames around the lenses were very noticeably bent out of shape. I told the lady working the counter that this was unacceptable and when I asked what happened, I was told that the person working the lab was in a hurry to leave and half-assed the lenses in. Had to wait another two weeks for new frames to come in. They looked as if they were set with a sledge hammer. Seriously, who does this?!? That was the only problem I had at that time. A couple of years later, the doctor had convinced me that I needed progressives. They were >$400. When they came in, I tried them on and could not see ANYTHING! The lower reading portion of the lenses was SO NARROW, it was like looking a book and only seeing just that one page. :/ The distance part at the top of the lens was at the EXTREME TOP of the lenses in which I could see fine over the glasses. I might as well not be wearing them at all. There was absolutely no peripheral vision what so ever which I need most. I went back and told them I cant see these at all and the response was "youll get used to them" . What?!? I COULD NOT USE THESE AT ALL. So I asked for a refund and they did everything possible to not do that. I got lesser glasses which were perfectly fine and they wouldnt refund the difference. Satisfaction guaranteed, or your money back my ass! That was a ripoff. Ill never set foot in theat place again.

I got an eye exam & was told I needed bifocals. I paid over $500 for progressives. By the time I took my son for his exam, I found an online store that had nice glasses at good prices...but like others have said, Vision works would not give me the PD if I was not going to buy glasses. (Thank GOD for 1) my husband who doesnt cause a stink about most things & 2) Wal-Mart who gave us the PD in less than 30 seconds, and they werent even the ones who got my money for the actually exam!) I later find out that although my eyes were no longer 20/20, they were ONLY 20/25 which means I couldve gone without paying all that money at Vision works for glasses!! I went for two separate consultations for Lasik surgery and both locations said, "your eyes arent bad at all!" One place refusing even to do the surgery because my eyes were only 20/25. I encountered both good and bad service while there....However, I would NOT recommend this location to anyone!!

My wife went to this location dor her first vision exam in years. She knew she needed glasses. I have gotten glasses and several exams from this location. First, my wife commented that they were running behind for her scheduled appointment. Second, she commented that the staff was not friendly Third, they initially refused to give the pupilary diistance without purchasing glasses, knowing full well the prescription is useless without that variable. Only after raising a little stink did someone (hopefully a manager) do the measurement and provide it. We purchase glasses online, so all the measurements are necessary. On a positive note, my wife was happy with the Doctor performing the exam. Also, the exam is cheap...but useless without PD. if you know your PD and dont care to purchase glasses, and dont care about service quality...this is your place.

Ive been coming here every year for my prescription and I usually debate it because of the experience and poor customer service, but this year I received a call for my annual prescription and was a little astonished as I never have in the past. I walked it was taken care off right away, I usually get the (you need to schedule an appt or we dont have time today) there are changes. Nicole (GM) was on point. She was aware of her guest, she saw me a couple times unattended and was right behind me asking me if I was taken care of and just made my experience AMAZING! From the walk - in, right to the end!!! If youve had bad experience before in here, I recommend giving it a second chance or maybe third chance. Shes very professional And will take care of you.

This location is awful, I was charged much more than my insurance says I should have been. I spoke to the General Manager -Jim. He was very unhelpful and aloof. I told him I was up charged and paid for things I did not ask for, his offer to fix issue was totally unacceptable. I informed him I would be filing a complaint with Vision works Corporate Headquarters, His response was very unconcerned and almost a "whatever" attitude. This is my first experience with Vision works and due to this it will probably be my last. I really think this store needs a new General Manager, he could care less about making a situation right for a customer, absolutely no concern for customers here and customer service is not the priority!!

I have also noticed the customer service slipping. I was told I could walk in for my appointment and when I did, everyone was out to lunch. I was given an appointment time to return (within the hour) and when I returned, I was told the appointment hadnt been entered. I loved the manner of the doctor but when I returned to pick up my glasses, they had a scratch on them so had to be re-made. Two seeks later, I still hadnt heard back and when I called, I was on hold for almost 10 minutes. I called back and was told someone would get back to me but I never heard back. I called back the next day to find out the glasses were in, but no one had bothered to call to let me know. This may be the last time I visit this location.

I walked in ready to find and buy glasses. After searching for about 25 minutes without an offer of assistance, I found ones I was looking for and tried to look for an employee. The disheveled looking young man who had sitting on the customer side of the counter absently playing with a glasses case this whole time got up and started working behind the counter. At this point I realized he was actually an employee! He noticed me standing there looking at him with a pair of display lenses in my hand, then looked away and kept doing whatever it was he was doing. I put the glasses back on the shelf and left.

These people have no warranty on there products I purchased the last week of Dec. 2016 a pair of glasses at more then 400.00 and on 5/15/2017 a arm fell off of the frames. Not a screw that came out, but clearly a defect in workmanship. And they tell me there is no warranty. Really, 4-1/2 months for over 400.00 thats ridiculous. Thats crazy, at least Waly World guaranty theres for a year. I will never, ever buy anything from this place again.
