I have been a patient of this practice for over 5 years and I have been delighted with the professionalism I have received. As a senior, I am most concerned about my vision health. Dr. Tedder is very careful to explain to me the findings of the various test performed on my eyes during my visit. Not only that, but he compares the results to those of my previous visits in order that I might easily understand whatever changes may have occurred to my eyes in the interim. I have been blessed not to have had to change glasses in several years now which I attribute to the competency of my examinations. I have found the office staff to be very courteous and helpful with most of my visits starting very close to my appointment time. I know Dr.Tedder to be a Christian man (as I suspect the majority of the staff are as well), and I find a certain comfort in this knowledge being a believer myself. I cannot recommend this practice too highly and they are most deserving of my 5 star rating!

The D.E.C. Office Staff is so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable. They have the experience and skills needed to do their job. Dr. David Hemmings is simply one of the best eye doctors Ive ever seen. Hes been thorough with my exams, explaining in detail what he was about to do or needed to do; and if a staff member wasnt available to accomplish the next task, he took a few extra moments and completed the task himself - saving me more wait time. It was very much appreciated. My last visit involved minor eye lid surgery and he was so kind and sincere. He made the procedure easy, uncomplicated and followed up to make sure all was ok. His thoughtfulness and his staffs caring attitude insure that I will return to this clinic in the future. Thanks Yall!

I find this office and the staff to be one of the most professional s office around , they are very caring , Dr. Hemmings is one of the best doctors I know in his specialty, he goes over and beyond for his pts. I cannot say enough good things about this office , I came to this office several years ago due to an acute eye problem, after explaining to the staff what was going on they worked me in the same day I called, you do not find this to often as I was a new pt. and had never been to them before !!!, if you are looking for an eye doctor , this is the office to see. I have been a patient of Dr. Hemmings at Douglasville Eye Clinic for almost three years and I have never had any problems or concerns with anyone affiliated with them. When I was scheduled for my cataract surgery I realized I had a problem getting the eye drops that I had to have, I talked with the staff and they took care of the problem. Everyone is always ready and willing to see that everything goes smoothly. I have and will continue to recommend these Drs. and this practice to everyone that I know needs an ophthalmologist. They are all top rated as far as I am concerned!

The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well as very helpful with any billing or insurance questions you might have. I have never waited for an appointment and have never had a bad experience. I have also seen Dr. Tedder in an emergency situation and had the same experience with him. My husband has been going here for 30 years. They are the ones who told him of his eye condition that most of the people in his family have. He warned all in his family because their doctors will know what to look for. I dont go every year for eye checkups. I was very upset when my cataracts "bloomed" in one day and I couldnt see anything. Dr. Hemmings operated and I am fine and dandy. I will be better at going every year from now on, I promise. All of the support staff is best I have ever seen. All are friendly and efficient.

My husband and I started going to Dr. Hemmings back before 2008. My husband wore glasses that looked like they were the bottoms of a glass coke cola bottle. He had always been told that he could not have surgery on his eyes because they were to bad but Dr. Hemmings said there was a new thing called clear lens replacement that could be done. Well it was done in 2008 and it has been great. What a wonderful doctor Dr. Hemmings is and we truly love him. We recommend him to everybody that asks about a good eye doctor.

All of the staff presented themselves in a very professional manner and were quite skilled in their profession. I have been a patient of Dr. Tedder since 2006. He is a great doctor and very personable with a good bedside/chair manner. His staff is always professional and kind. They are also very punctual, one time I had to wait 30 minutes to be seen but all the other times it was 10-15 minutes and I go twice a year. They have the latest technology and are very thorough. I/m not going anywhere else when it comes to my eyes.
