I was visiting my daughter in Douglasville, GA and wanted to purchase a boxspring and mattress for my granddaughter. My daughter saw an ad in a salespaper for a mattress and boxspring. Typical marketing tactics the price of $59 was printed directly beside the picture of a nice beautiful set (too good to be true, right - it was!) When we arrived at the store the salesperson (Phillip Thomas #74) directed us to a 3" piece of foam. When we questioned the sales paper, we had to pull out a magnifying glass to see the name on the mattress in the picture did not match the name in the ad. Nonetheless, we came back to reality and purchased a quality set that we were satisfied with. We were now right at the cut off time for same day delivery (6:30 pm), but we were assured that delivery would be made within the hour to hour 1/2 by an outside contract driver. We anticipated an approximately 8:00 pm delivery. Come 8:00 - no delivery; 8:30-no delivery. Well, after calls to the store (by now closed) the driver called at 9pm saying they were 30/45 minutes away; 30 minutes later they call to say they had to stop for gas; 15 minutes later, they made a wrong turn. Finally 10:30 pm they showed up and asked did we have any gas they could put in the truck! AND ON TOP OF ALL THIS WE HAD TO PAY THEM A $75 DELIVERY FEE --- I WAS FLOORED!!!

BEST SERVICE! Went with my husband to buy a mattress. Was immediately cared for and shown to the mattresses. The guy explained how they have them displayed by price and said he would be back in a few minutes to see if we have questions. I loved that. There was no pressure! He came back as promised and even told us the one we agreed on even dropped by $50! We got one hell of a deal on a beautiful and comfortable mattress for $400 and we later found out it normally goes for over $800! We were some dare devils and decided to tie it down on top of the car. (A corolla by the way lol) I have no idea how but their technique worked as promised and the mattress and box spring didnt move for anything and we made it home safely. It makes for a good story now to tell people lol. But I wanted to wait to give a review after I slept on it. And it was amazing. Im pregnant and my husband has lower back pain so sleep was difficult for both of us, which is one of the reasons my husband and I needed a new one. Every person in the store was friendly and it was a very easy going atmosphere. I hate spending money, but the fact I knew I had amazing service and got a great deal made it painless. Im referring everyone I know. Thank you guys so much!

I really wish they had a zero has a rating!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM AMERICAN FREIGHT!!!! People are lying or employees are the ones writing the reviews. There is NO way possible this place has 4 stars!!!! I placed an order, put it on layaway, and was told several days later that the items had been DISCONTINUED. After being told that the items were discontinued, I had to buy the store model. After being told I COULD still order the chaise that goes with the sofa and love seat, when I went back a couple days later to purchase the chaise, I was unable to order it because it was discontinued too. I was sooo dissatisfied, the regional manager told the store manager to give me a refund. I am now WAITING to see how long it will take the REFUND to hit my debit card. Normally, I can see on the banks website when a refund is pending, but I am not seeing anything. It was suppose to be refunded on Thursday and today is Monday, so I am going to give it a couple more days!!! I NEED MY MONEY!!! The company doesnt care about the customers or their employees. Its ridiculous how customers have to shop in a HOT place and workers have to work in that HOT environment. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AND YOU SHOULDNT EITHER!!!

I brought over $ 2,000.00 of furniture from American freight and before the month was over my sofa was ripped across the top of it. My table was broken in half of one of the legs. When I called back the manager told me he contacted the place that made it and they didnt make that kind of sofa any more and that I could come back in to return the furniture. But a week later when I called so that I could return it they said that he no longer worked there any more. I never gotten the help I needed from them. And this happened April of 2014

I went here to purchase a twin mattress for my daughter. The sales rep, Phillip, was very friendly and he also suggested a better option for me, than what I thought I would need. My sales experience i would definitely give 5 stars. As the loading guy finished up loading the mattress on my car, he politely stated that they do accept tips. I thought that was unprofessional for him to say that. We were about to tip him anyway, which we did. You should never have to remind a customer to tip, either they tip you or they dont.

Purchased some very important pieces of furniture here. Not only did I end up finding exactly what I came in for, but the staff was absolutely a PLEASURE to talk to! Eric was the sales associate that guided my father and I. Had innovative ideas, very informative, and was very patient with us! Even managed to get through a discount after he conversed with us for a while. My experience here was so nice. And the caring staff was a cherry on top! Thanks for all your help, once again.

Loved this place so much and cant wait to go back! They have excellent customer service and beautiful furniture. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. When you go ask for either Josh or John! I went in the store searching for a new bedroom set and that was exactly what I found and at a GREAT price! I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back to get my living room furniture there without a doubt!

Wonderful experience overall. Kudos to Chris. He was a big help, and very knowledgeable. Thanks to Chris and Scotti, I got a great dining set and sofa/chaise combo for a great price. I promised I would come back for a recliner, and thanks to the great experience, theres no doubt that Ill be coming back for sure. Thanks guys!

Bobby was a very attentive sales person. He waited on me patiently as I toggled between what I wanted. He explained products and prices thoroughly. Thanks to Bobby I found a comfy mattress set with a nice frame to go with. I will definitely come back and ask for Bobby!....the manager was very helpful as well.
