I am extremely dissatisfied with the food and experience I just had here. On Monday, we came in during the early bird hour and were waited on by a wonderful woman. We even told the manager how great the food and service were. We were impressed because we go to Cracker Barrel all over the country and this was exceptional. However, on Wednesday night, we came back with four friends, two of which had never been. Needless to say, they will never go back to any Cracker Barrel as they are so disgusted with the food and inability to get orders correct. Most food was not eaten. I only ate 3 grilled tenders out of an entire meal. My husband could only eat his chicken because his sides were terrible and old. One friend said this was the worst steak he had ever eaten and did not eat anything else. One friend asked for turkey bacon and was given regular, burned. He ended up not eating dinner at all. One friend had to drown her steak in sauce to be edible. The other only ate a few of her tenders. The waitress was attentive with drinks and bread but totally dropped the ball on our order: no sauces, extra gravy, etc etc. The manager did comp our meal, which was the right thing to do. The waitress apologized incessantly and even ran out to the parking lot to give back a hat which had been left. Thank you for that. We did leave her a tip of 7 dollars which was probably about 10% of the ticket, which I asked to see but never got (to leave her a tip). To the kitchen, just because you are closing in an hour does not make it ok to send out sub par food. I have worked as a cook in a well known, chain steakhouse on International Dr. in Orlando, Fl (one of their busiest locations in the country) and this is a reprehensible thing to do. The food should be the same quality food open to close. Period. My husband and I were extremely embarrassed because we bragged about how good the food and service were here and this Cracker Barrel totally made fools of us. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location. Upon checking reviews I found a local news article that revealed they failed their food service inspection terribly just a few weeks ago. I am now sick to my stomach. I will not be going back to any Cracker Barrel anytime soon and NEVER to this one again! Way to go CB :(

Bad experience today. Our server was unavailable for most of the meal and though we requested to-go desserts they were not brought or added to our ticket. We waited at the table an additional 15 minutes before someone went to find her for us to get what we needed. Thank you to the very sweet male waiter that helped us find her and get her to come back to our table. Our bill was around 30 dollars and we left 4 bucks because of the bad service. While paying the bill we realized that we left our umbrella in the chair in which my purse had been placed. We went right back just minutes later to retrieve it but the waitress had cleared the table and my umbrella had been removed as well. According to the manager it could not be located. The waitress came out and was very unconcerned with helping us locate it. The manager looked but it could not be found. While I lack proof, I feel our waitress may have been mad that we adjusted her tip for the sub-par service we received. I also feel that she may have done something with my umbrella out of spite or kept it for herself. The service was just terrible today but the fact that someone would possibly steal from me or intentionally do something with my belongings is unconscionable. We will not be back to this store which is a shame because we go through the area on a regular basis and stop in frequently. I just can not in good faith give money to a business that has unscrupulous employees in their hire. On a plus note, the food was good.

Started badly when we were given a broken high chair for our baby then went downhill from there. The staff looked really busy so I will give them the benefit of the doubt. However, the service was amongst the worst I have experienced. Being from the UK I am somewhat of an authority on bad service and the staff here are definitely contenders. I ordered the grilled sirloin, medium. I think they used a medium sized frying pan to overcook it for me. My meal came with three sides, two of which actually arrived! The drink I ordered was ice, water with a hint of coke. Luckily our server brought me a second! To add to the poor fare the general vibe was one of incompetence with a lack of professionalism thrown in for good measure. The busser was chatting on her cell phone whilst tidying up tables. I witnessed a server casually throwing a dirty napkin into the fireplace only for it to strike the mantle and land on the floor, the same server caused an almighty clatter when she dropped a table full of plates right behind us. The highlight was probably seeing the manager (I assume it was him as he had some devices attached to his belt and didnt go near a table) strutting purposely from the kitchen, pausing only slightly to wipe his nose on his shirt sleeve. To finish on a positive note the service was quick which meant we didnt have to spend long in there.

Id really like to know who the store manager is at this location. Because I will spread this far and wide until its resolved. WHATEVER YOU DO, Do not order Sprite to drink, because the servers or back of the house might think its funny but it wasnt, if you put Magnesium Citrate Into an elderly drink water, sprite or anything you will kill them because you will dehydrate them. This will happen so fast that they may be sitting in your restaurant when they go into a full cardiac arrest. Theres absolutely nothing funny about pouring Mag into anyones drink. Especially when someone complains about the drink being thick, syrupy, salty, and having no flavor. Within minutes go from feeling fine to stomach cramping and then straight diarrhea and throwing up, here I am 24hrs post and still cant stop. Its not funny and you have been reported to Bartow County community health!!!!

The dining room staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. Was seated quickly, then watched as the folks who had been behind me were seated. A server came and took their drink order but not mine. A few more minutes passed and their server brought their drinks and stopped by my table to ask if anyone had taken my order. He took my drink and food order. A female server brought my coffee and water but no silverware, oh well, at least I had a straw. A 3 Rd server brought my food but he had to go get my silverware. Hamburger steak and broccoli were good. The fried okra was pretty good, just a bit overcooked. Biscuits would have subbed for hockey pucks. No one asked if I wanted a refill on my coffee or if I wanted dessert. Went to pay and the cashier had just clocked out but she did find me another cashier. Not my worst visit to a Cracker Barrel but certainly not my best.
