I have never been so disrespected by a sales associate in all of my 50+ years! It wasnt necessarily that they wouldnt allow me to return something without a receipt, but the fact that I was talked to so rudely and the tone of her voice was something I could barely believe was happening. I will never shop at this Belks again. Simply because they allow an employee like her to work there. After asking for this employees name...she tells me "youll never be able to get me in trouble!" What a cocky and unnecessary thing to say. I told the associate all I needed to hear was..."Im sorry Mam but I wont be able to return these items without a receipt. Im so sorry for the inconvenience. Could you come back when the store manager is here?" I would have been SOOO fine with that. I had my email conformation (on-line order) but she was so hateful...she wouldnt even look at the confirmation but questioned whether I actually bought these items at Belk...even with an email from Belk! I was degraded and insulted and wont be back. I called and spoke to a store manager and she was nice but there really isnt anything that can be done to change my mind on allowing this employee to represent management in the evening hours. Im still shocked at how I was treated and wont be back!

Super bad customer service. we waited next to the register in the womens+kids department for at least 5mins before a manager showed up to tell us that she will try to find us a sales associate to ring us up.And then she came, a young lady that had on a white shirt with no bra. You could see everything through her shirt and i mean everything! i was wondering how no body from the managers had sent that girl home already for not dressing up professionaly. after all she did work in the kids department. needless to say, it was not a pleasant experience after all, the lady also gave us an attitude when we asked her if she had a coupon that we could use saying that she offered us a 25% discount if we did the pre-sale but we said that we didnt want that. Dont think Id be going in there again anytime soon.

Belks is my store for shopping. Never have I had bad customer service! They have helped me find everything I need even it has to be ordered and shipped free of charge to my home. Their merchandise is reasonably priced and I always find great bargains on things I need. Who knew that you can buy Bunn coffeemaker filters for $1.49 for 100. Nowhere else will you find that bargain and with a coupon you get 20% off.

I have never had anything but good customer service at this store. They are sometimes short-staffed, but thats probably hard to control at all times. I have noticed the computer system is sometimes clunky...time for an upgrade, Belk.
