As each day goes by the entire experience seems to feel worse in my mac he. At th S point Autonation is lucky to receive one star! Where do I start....? Lets begin with my situation. I was an out of state buyer. The dricecwas supposed to take three hours but due to traffic became 5. You would think when a customer drives 5 hours ONE WAY they would be offered the basics like a bottle of water when asked to wait in an office but no, I finally asked our sales person myself. She did provide a bottle and apologized stating she thought she already offered us some. The spokesman by was not appreciated as Ive been treated better at my local dealership waiting to AHAVE MY OIL CHANGED. We drove 5 hours to get there and I was shocked water was kept under such a tight inventory. The sales woman was nice and the test drive was uneventful so the next bad impression occurred when we sat down with the finance guy. When agreeing to purchase a $26,000 piece of metal I would hope to receive common curtesy but I guess this gentleman does NOT work on commission and is exempt from kindness. I suppose once you reach HIS office they know they have a sale and you can be treated with disdain. At 42 years of age this was my second new car purchase and I was shocked at the treatment of myself as a customer. When I stated I did not want the GAP insurance he spun around in his chair with the most hateful facial expression and projected his shock and disagreement! I was at this point utterly shocked myself at his negative opinion! I can say Ive NEVER been treated this way in a sales department! Thinking I must have list my mind (as he seemed to believe) I recanted my opposition to the additional insurance and asked a few questions about it. My boyfriend asked about the cancellation policy if we changed our minds and the finance assistant gave him the "run around" about not being able to show us that until we signed it! I didnt believe that and we asked big there was indeed anyway we found review the agreement before signing and he with done dramatic eggageration proceeded to sort through other customers paperwork and pulled out the requested paperwork. We looked it over and agreed to sign. This brings me to the most negative complaint I have yet with this company..... less than 24 hours later, the next morning I called my credit union (where I was going to refinance for a better rate) and their GAP was half price. I had already decided I didnt want it (felt pressured to purchase something I said I didnt want) and if I did I sure would like the half price! So I called to cancel. This was OVER two weeks ago. I will skip the details of my multiple multiple phone calls, being "disconnected" very mysteriously more than once, being transferred multiple times to the (really nice) tire rotation guy in the service department, having the main number pick up with no sound and I could keep going. I have still NOT been able to cancel the unwanted insurance and am EXTREMELY frustrated with the entire process! I believe they are doing this as for me to be out of contract in the policy to cancel within 30 days the a full refund as the paperwork states. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Where do I begin? Well...I purchased a 2016 VW Beetle Classic Edition at this dealership. When I left I was happy as could be, the process was quick and easy, or so I thought. When I received my plates in the mail they were registered completely wrong, when I called the manager of sales said he was, "Doing everything possible to fix this problem". A few weeks later he called and told me that there was nothing he could do to correct the issue. So I called my bank, my bank told me that legally they needed to fix the registration because without the correction I could not insure the vehicle. After a few more weeks of fighting, I gave up. I sucked it up and put the plates on my car (which had a county that I do not live in on them). But the car was at least registered right? A few weeks before that I had some technical issues with my cars navigation system. It was not working properly, so when it came time for the 90 day inspection, I mentioned it and they looked at it. I was told that I needed to have it completely replaced because it had a manufacturer defect. After weeks of trying to have it replaced and opening a claim with VW customer care, they finally decided to let me come in to have the part ordered and a claim started. When I got there they took my car apart and proceeded to tell me that the audio unit could not be replaced because there was a software update coming out at some point. So I wasted a whole day, when I could have been working, to take my car in for work that it did not need. Fast forward to today! I had a tire pressure warning on in my car, I live in a construction zone, so I knew it was a nail. I inspected my tires, and sure enough I had been correct! So naturally I called the service department and asked about what my warranty covered. I explained that I had had asked my salesman, and finance about a road hazard warranty, the gentlemen on the phone then proceeded to look up the car to see if I had the warranty. Not surprisingly enough, they never bothered to give me road hazard warranty when I bought it...even though I specifically asked for it multiple times, and asked if I had it and was told, "yes". So now I will be paying out of pocket for every single tire issue in the future.....yay....thanks Buford AutoNation! For the best experience ever! Now I know where to go when I want to spend $24,000 on a new vehicle! I am trying to find somewhere else to take my car for all of its future service needs, because I will not be giving Buford another dime. Theyve lost a customer for life. And I will write a similar review on multiple other websites. I know they read these reviews, because Nally VW read my horrible review of their service department, and called to apologize to me. If youre reading this Buford, dont you dare call me, youre apology is not accepted, I will never visit your center again.

From the moment I pulled up to AutoNation VW, I knew that this place was different from any other car dealerships I had been to. Everything, from the building to the lot, with all the cars, is fun and friendly looking. Absolutely everything is VW oriented. The cars, their histories, and the peoples love for them all was on full display. There were artworks, timelines, and even pieces of former VWs decorating the inside. On top of all the car memorabilia, I loved the large and open garage feel that they have there. The place is by far the best-looking dealership Ive been to hands down. Even if I wasnt buying a car, Id go there to just appreciate the VW history. The way the dealership is set up, the reception, and service from everyone there is equally as inviting and amazing. I personally got helped by Lynette, shes awesome and anyone wanting to go in should definitely ask for her. I was personally looking to get a new car and she moved the Earth and Moon to make sure that if I found the car I liked, that I would leave happy in it. While I was there, I was treated with respect and made to feel like family. Ive been to plenty of other dealerships, this place has no equal in my eyes. The people working at AutoNation VW are world class. Even before I had found my car, Lynette showed me around the dealership and introduced me to everyone, from the Service Department to even the Finance Department. When Lynette introduced me to the Service Techs, they were more than happy to answer any of my potential maintenance and service problems on each car model we looked at. I always got a straight answer and it didnt matter how many questions I had, it was all about making me feel confident and informed in the car I was buying. This was extremely important for me. Buying a car is only half of the process, maintenance and caring for the car is just as important. It was apparent to me by the end of my experience that Lynette and all the other people there truly love the cars, are proud to show them, and want to take care of your car for you as if it were their own. I can’t say this enough, their emotion showed in how they talk with and treat you. Overall, I cant thank enough Lynette and everyone there. I ended up getting the car I wanted at a great price and felt like I had truly joined the VW family in the best way, loved and cared for. In buying my car at AutoNation VW I felt like I gained a second family. I would highly recommend that anyone who is reading this review or is thinking about buying a car (VW or other) to go see what true car service feels like. Once you experience it, you will probably never want to go anywhere else to buy a car.
