THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. They changed my battery and it was working fine for a week until my car shut off again. After calling roadside assistance, I found out that Laura, who had changed my battery, had FORGOTTEN TO TIGHTEN THE SCREWS. WTF?! HOW CAN A AUTO PARTS STORE FORGET SUCH A CRUCIAL THING?? Her mistake could have ended very fatally for me. Not only did I pay $50 to get roadside assistance, but I missed my shift at work. I went and complained to Vince, who is the manager, and his apology was pathetic and insincere. He looked like he was finding humor in my situation. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HORRIBLE STAFF

I had an amazing experience here. I had previously taken my care to Auto Zone to have the battery tested and they were not helpful and couldnt tell me anything. So I took it here, and Jonathan was SO helpful and kind. He explained everything to me and even taught me how to take out the battery and jump my own car (he did it for me and taught me how for the future). Another employee also tag teamed and offered advice. Overall, they knew what they were doing and actually cared about helping me find the problem. Highly recommend!!! Thanks Jonathan!

Stopped by to get some oil because of an oil leak that I couldnt get looked at for a couple of days, and an employee named Cory checked me out. When he found out the problem I was having, he came out to the car to take a look, getting down on the cold damp ground to see where the oil was coming from. He seriously helped calm my nerves about the situation and gave me some great advice. Ive never had such great service at an auto parts place before - I wont be going anywhere else from now on! Great experience with this Advance Auto Parts! My battery died and a gas station right by their store and the manager drove over to test the battery and then drove us back to the store to get a new one! Great customer service and very helpful, I would definitely recommend them over any other shop in Athens!

The service performed was good, but there were only two people working the shop the night before last, so it took longer than expected and they came up with a different result as to what was wrong with the car than AAA had.

Very knowledgeable staff and good prices. Even some sales going on, which is nice. Small parking lot so you may have trouble getting in and out, or finding a space, but go at the right time and youll have no problem.
