We ordered a couch at Crate & Barrels Tampa, FL, store on February 25, 2017. The price, $1, 598.77, included delivery. When the couch arrived at our condo building on April 19, 2017, the delivery men said they could not get it into the freight elevator nor take it up the stairs to our 3rd floor condo because it wouldnt fit. When we called Crate & Barrel, we were told that the couch could not be returned, that it was our responsibility, and they instructed the drivers to just leave it in the buildings driveway. Fortunately, the driver was considerate enough to put it back on his truck and return it to the warehouse. He is a private contractor, not a Crate and Barrel employee, yet treated us with more courtesy and respect than Crate & Barrels customer service person. When we phoned our sales person, Debbie Davis, she was of little help and told us that we could not return the couch or get a refund. The best she could offer us was store credit for one-half the purchase price. That was not only unfair but insulting to a long-term customer. We were forced to hire our own mover, Greenlite Movers, to pick the couch up at Crate & Barrels warehouse and deliver it. They had no problem getting the couch onto the freight elevator and bringing it into our condo. They simply removed the outer cardboard and plastic packaging, removed the cushions and pillows, and moved it into the elevator with ease. Greenlite charged us $450.65 for the move. I expect Crate and Barrel to reimburse us for that full amount since our purchase price included delivery and Crate & Barrel failed to deliver the couch. We sent this complaint to Crate & Barrel through their website, which provides an email form to transmit such messages. We never even received a response acknowledging that they received the message, something that almost all companies do. We would like a timely response from Crate and Barrel and payment from them for the $450.65 we paid to have our couch delivered because Crate and Barel failed to deliver it. This is the sound of me, waiting.

we have always enjoyed our experience at this store. They are expensive for our budget, but provide a treasure trove of inspiration, and the accesspries we have purchased have always been worth the price we paid. My review is more of the other clients who have written, ugly illiterate reviews, Calling the associates morons demeans the writer. In addition, if one is going to write something that will be visible to thousands of people, please try to be literate. I suspect that at least a good part of the complaints are due to customers feeling that just because they spend money, they must be fawned on, and need not treat people with common courtesy. I agree that not answering the phone as mentioned in another negative review is poor business. As far as not being opened on holidays, use your fingers and check the web site...take some responsibility for your own actions.

Yesterday I found some picture frames that I wanted store in Orlando. However I needed three and they only had one. Very kind lady, Stephanie, called the Tampa store and they placed three frames aside for me. This morning I found out that the frames I will not suit our need. I called the Tampa store and spoke with Nathan to explain the situation. He promptly transferred me to Julie, their manager, and everything was taken care of right then and there. I just received a phone call from Nathan confirming that everything had taken place. Excellent service! Excellent performance!

Went there early Monday morning and had a great experience (it was my first time purchasing there). I bought the Aspen dinnerware which was a great value (sign up for emails and you can get a 10% off coupon you can use in store or online). I was asked multiple times if I needed help and the sweet girl who checked me out even helped me carry the pieces to the register once she knew what I wanted. When she heard me comment it was going to be heavy she had me pull my car around to the side of the building for curbside pickup. Wonderful customer experience and I couldnt be happier with our dishes!

Had a problem with Mason Bed squeaking ..I was in the Tampa store, and spoke with Jamey a sales associate. telling him of the problem He said that should not be happening. He called Angie in customer service.She called me a few days later.set up an appointment for a service tech to come and look at it. He found it was missing 4 bolts on the headboard,,He fix it on the spot... no more squeaking... I have to say customer service was GREAT..I will continue to shop at Crate & Barrrel and tell my friends

Me and my wife went here to register. A not so very helpful person named alex got very nasty with a gentlemen who tried to help her figure out what me and my wife were looking for. Later, we went to that same gentlemen and he had such great design skills for our kitchen. Unfortunately, we have not been there since, and we do feel sorry for that man. Overall, one star was given due to the amount of hostile the staff shows toward each other. It was very uncomfortable!

Staff are morons. Both times weve been in weve dealt with Mary. Shes not good on the register. I asked another staff member if C&B price matches - she told me they dont. A quick check online proved otherwise. If Im going to be charged $17 for the same pan at Walmart for $11, I expect better customer service and sharper employees.

This store has a good selection of furniture, kitchen equipment etc. It is much better than the Orlando store and is well worth a visit. All the staff in the store are helpful but John Vodzak, in particular, stands out. He went out of his way to help us equip our new home and ensure a timely delivery. He was brilliant.

Great products and such friendly customer support. Always great products especially for the holidays. For example, the employee at the front desk was very friendly as she helped us find our pumpkin trivet. Phone support also courteous. Will definitely do business with them again.

Just a little note to say how pleased I was with my visit to this store. The staff is so helpful and seems to care about their duties as employees of Crate. A great selection of merchantise. A women named Fran was tremendous help to me in housewares. I will go back.

First the parking stinks!!!!! Its by a poplar restaurant so ur fighting over parking. And After u have your blood pressure up from trying to get a spot... You find that they close the doors 10 mins before there supposed to be closed which is 8pm.
