The pharmacist at the Walgreens at the corner of prima vista blvd and bayshore is absolutely awful!!!! She has no idea what shes talking about. Twice I have asked her advice and both times she was completely wrong!!! The first time I spoke to her it was about certain iron pills that I have to take because Im severely anemic. I have to take the Iron 65mg Ferrous Sulfate 325 mg pills 3 times a day. I accidentally bought the iron ferrous gluconate pills from this Walgreens so I called and spoke to the pharmacist and she said I would be fine with taking the iron pills I bought. So I took them for 3 days and my anemia symptoms got so bad that I was experiencing severe dizzy spells, lightheadedness, weakness, fatigue and had absolutely no energy. I ended up in the hospital and when I told the Dr at the hospital that I bought a different type of iron supplement but the pharmacist said I was okay taking those ones, the Dr said she was 100% dead wrong for telling me that and for her being a pharmacist she should have known that and told me to buy the usual ones I take. So I went and bought the ones im supposed to be on and started feeling normal again. That was the first time she completely gave me horrible advice. Then, due to taking the iron pills, I became very very constipated. I tried MiraLax and it didnt work. All it did was cause severe cramps so then I tried this saline laxative called Citrate Magnesia, which had great reviews but that still didnt work. So after about a week of being blocked up I went into Walgreens and spoke to the pharmacist personally and explained to her what was going on because my husband suggested taking an enema. So I spoke to her about that and she straight up told me that it will not work and I have to call a doctor and was very short with me and ended our conversation. So my husband and I decided to get an enema anyways and just see if it would work. I took the enema and within 30 seconds it worked like a charm. It completely flushed out my system. This woman has no right being a pharmacist because she does not have a clue about what shes talking about, not to mention shes so unprofessionally rude and always has a snobby, disrespectful attitude when I try to ask her a question and get her advice. I would NEVER reccomend this pharmacist!!!!!! If you have any medical questions call public pharmacy, a doctor or any other Walgreens pharmacist besides this one because I promise you that she will give you completely false advice!!!! Im warning everybody not to use this Walgreens pharmacy. She has absolutely no right being a pharmacist there!!!!!

Store Manager "Stephanie", if thats her real name, on duty December 22 at 7pm really needs to attend some management classes and people skills classes as well. She refused to come out of her office and deal with an issue for her employees while a customer was on the phone, and then when I went into the store, she finally came out to answer the phone (the whole time sucking her teeth and rolling her eyes) hung up the phone and stated the issue "wasnt her problem". I advised her it actually WAS her problem because she was the manager. She then had some highly unprofessional comments as she walked away, walked back into the managers office and slammed the door. If this is any indication of the type of employees Walgreens hires (and promotes to management positions) I will not be shopping at Walgreens any longer. Highly unprofessional and rude managers will not allow your business to succeed.

For 19 1/2 years I have shopped and used this pharmacy. No more. After being treated like a drug addict from the pharmacy staff when my child needed to start ADD medication, then being lied to by the staff when they told me my prescription would be ready in 1 1/2 hours, then when it was "delayed" and I followed up the next day to see if it was ready, they tried to tell me they already told me it was not covered by my insurance when I dropped off the prescription. Wrong!! If they told me that, why on earth would they still have the prescription instead of handing it back to me, and why on earth would their call center tell me its on order for shipping the next day?? I will never shop Walgreens again. Too many issues!

There is one nice pharmacist here and the other one thinks she is a Doctor! I am new to the area, so obviously had to get a new doctor after a couple of months of refills expired. Ive been on these medications since I was in HIGH SCHOOL mind you (& they arent pain meds) anyways she took them and wouldnt give it back to me! Also, called my new Dr and convinced him not to refill the ones he called into this store!! The nice pharmacist said she didnt see a problem with my medications either! So now I have to drive two hours away to my old town to see my old Dr. until I can find one in town! DONT GO HERE! And my 75yr old neighbor told me the same thing happened to her! Im writing a letter to corporate, this is BS!

The head pharmacist here is fantastic, just dont try to fill scripts here when theres a "floater" pharmacist, they are afraid to fill anything because its not their store, and its pointless trying, youre better off waiting for the real pharmacist on the next shift. My only complaint with this store really, are the floating pharmacists, they are clueless and shouldnt be allowed to float in any store.

Worst place to get prescription , very rude and they dont offer wait time. I hate this place. Again I go to this store and they want to argue with customers. They are like fools they should be fired. Given them two months since my BCBS and Tricare dropped CVS. Now I remember why I left them so many years ago. NO thought to customer service at all. Four visits, now. And once I got my prescription approved...OUT OF STOCK?!?! Horrible.

The line to wait to pick up ur medicine in the drive thru takes ver very very very very long Ive been waiting here for 45 mins and I still havent gotten my medicine the staff doesnt pay attention to the drive thru and they are careless!!
