Now that Ive had more experience with this little place, I love it even more! I made my first personal stop there a couple of nights ago, with my family. Before that, I had been limited to whatever my husband brought home for a treat. While it was ever so tempting to go back to my first love, the freshly made maple bacon, I decided that it was time to branch out. So, I ordered a glazed twist, a walnut log and an apple fritter. Each of them was perfect. I couldnt wait to get home, so I snatched out the twist as soon as we got them to the car. Sorry folks, no time for pictures when you can smell the fragrance coming from the box. It was so fresh (even at 7:00 pm), it tasted like they had just taken it out of the fryer. My daughter and I split it and both moaned with delight and the same time, as we took the first bite. Id never seen a walnut log anywhere. It was a rich chocolate cake log with big chunks of crunchy walnuts. It couldnt have been better. The amount of cocoa in the dough was perfect. The last one was the apple fritter. I love cinnamon and apples. Again, this was a bite of heaven with the spicy cinnamon and chunks of apples. My only suggestion would be to put in a few more apples. All three of the flavors I chose were glazed. One of the best things about Dandee is that they use just the right amount of glaze. It adds the perfect touch of sweetness without knocking you over the head with a sugar coma. Finally, there was our server, Napoleon. He had a gorgeous smile and was delightful to work with. He never lost patience with our inability to make decisions and even reminded us that they do a "bakers half dozen," so instead of six tasty temptations, we got seven! All in all, its a very good thing that they are so far from us, or Id be there every day! If youre in need of a sweet fix, definitely check out this place!

I love their donuts and Ive been going there go the past 25 yrs. BUT two days ago my four year old son couldnt make up his mind "fast enough" for this older lady with a pony tail taking our order. He said he wanted the Oreo one in which she grabbed the one with sprinkles. My kid doesnt like sprinkles, believe it or not. He and I discussed which one he really wanted and she huffed and puffed and literally waved us off to help three more customers behind us. After being stared at by the rest of the crew who worked there, she rolled her eyes and I caught her attention and asked for the Oreo one without sprinkles. She mumbled something rude and ripped the donut off the counter and threw it away. She yanked the correct one and dropped it next to my son. It was then and there I decided I will NEVER come back here again. I will light up social media and review sites with news of how My son and I were treated by this woman who either hates kids, her job, or her life in general. I wouldve been more than happy to pay for both donuts but she can thank her attitude for losing more than just 2 customers. Shame on you, you should act like an adult. Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to show my child how NOT to treat people!! Pompano location

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! Lady was rude, barely acknowledged me and instead of handing me my change in my hand as I stuck it out she slapped it on the counter instead. She obviously didnt care about her appearance either. Very sloppy looking. As I sat waiting for my food, she proceeded to carry on very loudly with a few degenerate customers about god knows what. So highly unprofessional. This is a place of business not a hangout. My food was finally finished as I noticed a bag in the expo window. Well guess who couldnt be bothered to grab it and give it to me? Yup, the sloppy gal up front. She was too busy carrying on with the degenerates. The cook had to come from around the kitchen and hand me the bag. In a haste, I left without checking my bag and came home to find out that my order was screwed up. I ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches and what I got was one very bland and dry tasting cheese steak sandwich. This was the third strike for this place as I have had two undesirable visits prior. I will not be a customer at this establishment ever again.

If I am in the area I stop at Dandee Donuts for their huge and delicious donuts. My favorite is the apple crumb. It has an apple pie filling and about 3 inches of icing on the top. My second favorite is the Dandee Donut, a pillow soft donut with crumbs on the top that melts in your mouth. In addition to the many flavors of donuts they serve breakfast and lunch. The only thing I ever get is what they call the pork roll sandwich on a hard roll. I grew up calling it Taylor Ham and if you are from New Jersey you know what I am talking about. Its my childhood on a bun. I love Dandee Donuts and apparently so does everyone else because trying to get in their tiny parking lot in the morning is a nightmare. There is not enough parking for the amount of people who want donuts. If you can fight your way in it will be worth it. I love the old fashioned feel even if the space is cramped. They make the best donuts A-round.

Ordered two steak, egg and cheese sandwiches on a kieser roll. Ended up with bacon instead of steak because of the young waitress working cash register at around 11pm 03/12/17. When I came into picking up the order, I over heard her saying how shes "not ready for tonight but will make the best of it". First, do your job by listening first instead of wanting to be heard by customers to feel sorry for you. This factory seems like they only care about accumulating enough money to either send the owner on vacations every week or opening another building , either way, the customers suffer instead of the cops. I went there before with 8 BSO cops eating and being treated better the "non cops". I guess Dandee factory appreciates people that can determine life or death on the spot vs. someone that may come there everyday!

I like the donuts but they arent worth 2 bucks each. The main manager guy is a jerk. At my job he threw his money at me and was so rude. Went to his business for the first time the other day and he was like "any day now we have other people in line" When I told him my order already, which he clearly wasnt listening. Some other guy there was soooo freaking rude to I told him I wanted original chocolate and original glazed donuts and he told some other lady employee "I wished I could read minds, referring to me not pointing out where the original donuts were. They need nicer employees and it would be nice if they made there donuts a dollar each like every where else!

I love Dandee Donuts! Good food, and life changing donuts. However I am here for lunch with my father. At 12:00 a pretty busy lunch hour. Why would a manager allow or even tell an employee to mop in the middle of a crowd trying to eat. First of all someone could slip and fall, not to mention the floor will get dirtied again by everyones shoes and the floor being wet and on top of that it smells. I dont want to smell chemicals while I am eating. I understand the place is 24 hours so they cant doing this after hours, however they could choose a more convenient time. Regardless Im addicted to the donuts here... Im not run off so easily.
