I wanted a leather sectional. I emphatically told the salesman that I wanted a real leather sectional that would last for years. I like the look of distressed leather after years of use. It has character. That is not what the salesman sold me at American Signature Furniture in Pinellas Park, FL. He actually sold me some sort of "bonded leather" with a warranty that clearly reads : "If the furniture cannot be repaired or a part is not available, you will receive a merchandise credit equal to the original purchase price of the stained or damaged Furniture." This is a 7 year warranty and the sectional was purchased 7/28/11. I am thinking that this is fraud? I bought a micro-fiber recliner at the same time and it is beautiful! The sofa is peeling, very badly! It looks dreadful! The only solution that they gave me was to return the money for the warranty. Thats why I bought the warranty! To have protection against damage. They do not understand and they will not help me! I will tell everyone that I know about their elusive sales practices and suggest that they purchase from a reputable company! Please, do yourself a favor and pass on by American Signature Furniture.

Sales person tells you that the warranty would cover anything that happens to the furniture. Come to find out after almost 2 years the sofa started to peel and the warranty doesnt cover peeling but it covers everything else. So the warranty is not good anymore. Accumulation of Damages: Based on the service technician’s report it was determined that you have an accumulation of damages on your furniture. According to the terms and conditions of your warranty certificate accumulation of damages are not covered. Please refer to your warranty certificate for specific coverage and exclusion information. Cracking/Peeling (Non Top Grain Leather in Seating Area): Based on the service technician’s report the leather on the seating area of your furniture is not top grain leather. The warranty only covers cracking/peeling in the non-seating area for your type of leather. Please refer to your warranty certificate for specific coverage and exclusion information.

Went in with my tenant/friend so she could get a dining room and buffet. Store experience was ok. She picked out the set she wanted and went to the back to get the credit part over with. They took 259 as down payment and was told her items would be delivered Thurs. First thing this morning she gets a call telling her the items wouldnt be delivered until JULY?! but heres the kicker they told her she had to make payments anyway or call and cancel the whole thing to which shed have to wait until 5 days to get $ back that was put down. No accommodation for a different set or im sorry heres what we can do etc just make payments on stuff you dont have or wont have for 3 months. Disgraceful actions. Check the stock before merchandise is sold!! Might want to be a bit honest on reviews there are a couple reviews from employees not customers. Saw them at store. Conflict of interest!!!

I have to say I dont like being bombarded the first thing when I walk through the door and they definitely dont do that here. I looked around the store for at least an hour and a half to two hours, you would think somebody would have the least said hi to me, nevermind mind ask me if I need help but at least acknowledge me. When the salesman walked past me I actually said hey how you doing and he said hi and kept on walking. You never know who is in your store and how big of a house they are buying for, I just purchased a 4 bedroom house and I am not taking any of the furniture for my previous place with me because I am renting it furnished. At the least Im going to need a minimum of 3 to 4 bedrooms 2 living rooms and much more. They must not need the business at American Signature Furniture. Extremely disappointed!

The worst service Ive ever had. The products are not good too. I purchased a lot of things from them 4 or 5 times. Each time had its problem. Some furniture they couldnt deliver toghether so they splited it, I can understand that, but they should told me before delivery day. On the delivery day I asked them why some products werent be delivered, they said they didnt have it now and would deliver later. They should call me and told me about that. And they kept delaying. It happed 3 times already. I called them a lot to say you guys should let me know before deciding to change delivery schedule, I have my job and I cant stay home waiting for them. A big company should have profressionalism and this company does not for sure. Honestly, the worst service I have ever had in my life. Never buy anything from them again.

American signature is the worst place to buy furniture. . We were told that we was to receive our furniture a week prior to our purchase. . However, waited all day and did not receive a thing.. we even paid someone to get rid of our old furniture thinking we were receiving something new.. When we called the company the first they made us an agreement and that we would receive the furniture the next week. However, when the furniture was actually suppose to be delivered. The workers had an nasty attitude and very argumentative because we lived up stairs and he made no effort in getting us our furniture. . So the movers just left.. Purchasing furniture is suppose to be a positive experience however, dealing with American Signature has been the worst experience EVER!

ASF is full of bigots and rude personnel. I visited this ASF a couple weekends ago to get the arts and crafts bedroom, living room, and dining set (over $5k in all). The sales person would not deal, at all (not even a free end table or night stand, or delivery) which is their perogative. However, while deciding on wether or not to purchase anyway, I was talking to my BF on the phone when the sales person asked if it was my wife. I told her it was my BF to which she sarcastically said "even better". Later in the same store, I heard other employees referencing the "fag". Needless to say I left without purchasing. I contacted ASF corporate who simply notified the store of my complaint. No apology, no anything. The store didnt even apologize for the behavior.

Make sure you have the sales person explain to you how long you have until you pay off until you get hit HARD with interest. We bought a set of furniture here and we had a year to pay it off before being charged interest. We paid it off and decided to get a bed and didnt even think to ask how long wed have (our huge mistake) 6 months roll around and bam were hit with $259 for that entire 6 months of interest because we didnt pay it off. Once again, our mistake for not asking, but they should maybe be a little more detail oriented and inform customers of this. Its not like we didnt have the money to pay if within the 6 months, we just thought we had longer. Lesson learned to always be skeptical and ask a million questions when it comes to sales people.

Fantastic experience. Salesman wasnt pushy and made sure he stayed in eye shot so I could flag him down when I had questions. He was pleasant and helped me find exactly the kind of piece I was looking for. When shopping for furniture at other places, the first thing I make mental note of is the pushy high pressure sales tactics when you first walk in. This was my first time shopping at American Signature. My salesman met me at the door in a way that wasnt pushy but made me feel like he was available at the same time. The selection of furniture was good. I wish they had more living room chairs and accent pieces. Overall good selection offering several different styles. Keep up the good work in Pinellas Park.
