I always find great deals here by using their coupon policy to my advantage. In terms of stock, I wish that they sold more Amy Butler and Moda type fabrics, but their Dwell Studio line is beautiful. I have had a couple of cashiers there inform me that my understanding of their coupon policy is wrong, so I always carry a printout of it in my purse to end all arguments. I think they are trying to create less work for themselves or get out of doing something they dont know how to do yet (both things Ive seen working in retail before). Signup at Joanns website and use the printable coupons, but you can also use Michaels and Hobby Lobby coupons (one from each store) in addition to one printable online Joanns coupon, one electronic coupon (you can signup for text coupons you show them on your phone) and one Joanns coupon clipped from the newspaper ad. So thats a total of 5 coupons you can use for ONE transaction. Make sure one of your Joanns coupons is a 20% off your entire purchase including sale items and you will get an additional 20% off everything. I never buy anything there without a coupon! Just have them printed out and clipped for the cashier before you go!

While weve had success here in the past, this time we left with nothing. We did get in line with some cutter blades but the long line was moving too slowly to make it worthwhile standing in the line so we left with no purchase. We did speak to an associate about parts for a Singer sewing machine - the Singer hotline had said the Jo-Ann store would order parts for us; they wouldnt - but we did leave with a recommendation to try another local store. The associate was friendly.

Went there with my wife to find some fabric, but no one is available for us to ask for questions and the black lady at the cutting was rude. She even made me feel dumb and I was just asking questions. I know shes just a worker, but Im putting this one star so you can talk to her and have her work friendly and professional. Doesnt matter if youre having a good or bad day. When youre at work, put all your personal problems behind and work properly for the sake of your customers.

I walked around the store for 15 minutes trying to find somebody to help me finally called the store while I was in the store the lady was rude and still waited another 10 minutes for them to send somebody who didnt know anything call the manager the next day and she said they just dont have people there to help thats just the way it is

Im sure I keep Joanns in business with how often I go! I love the friendly service. ALSO love the fact that I can not only use Joanns, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and A.C. Moore coupons, but they can be stacked!!! I love my deals here, and I always save more than what I spend :)

This is my favorite craft store to visit. Half the store is dedicated to fabric and sewing materials, but they still offer a large selection of other items. There are multiple aisles of cake and treat materials, as well as jewelry design, scrapbooking, and even kids crafts!
