My niece and I went last night for dinner and it couldnt have been a worse experience...Started with the rice balls, awful, under cooked rice and tasted like dirty uncovered refrigerator stench as did the butter served with the ice cold bread, and mind you it was only 6pm, really how old was the food being served to us?!?!? Then I ordered the asparagus risotto with shrimp, it came to the table looked okay but when I tried it, crunch crunch...raw hard rice, tried another bite same thing. My niece ordered a plain burger with only avocado and the potato cake, it came with cheese in the meat, sweet onions and a cold puck frozen center potato cake. I asked the manager when she came to the table to remove my plate and told her why, with an attitude she took it, I also told her that my nieces order was wrong as well but since I dont mind the onions and cheese rather than dump it I took hers and asked them to make another the way she originally ordered it. The manager said sure but youre wrong about the cheese in the middle its garlic mayo...in the center of the meat???, and argued the point with me!!! She aggressively came out of the kitchen towards me and said to me with her finger waiving in my face that she tried my risotto and her bite was fine...really!!! She ate my risotto, I filled her in on being sick the past 2 weeks with walking pneumonia, she said oh "whatever", I felt like I was in a 7th grade debate over hair ties. Finally my nieces burger came out with a new potato cake all was hot and correctly done, so I know it can be done, and 7 min after that my replacement potato cake came out cut in half and smashed thin and greasy, I pushed it away, asked the manager Yvonne Belmont what is that and pointed to the unfortunate potato and she snatched it up and TOLD me "Im done" and tried to take my nieces plate as well, she felt we were being too hard to please, is what she said, I told her not to waive her finger in my face, nor tell me when Im finished, she said thats how she is and how she talks, I suggested finding a different job, customer care is not what she is good at. During the time we waited for our replacement food we witnessed her and heard her clearly complain about us to the waiters, the kitchen staff and the gentleman who sat us, which turned them into negative, ugly, and we will never ever go to Prosecco Cafe again...and did I , mention there was only 3 tables with customers, so the excuse of being in the weeds was not available at that time. Now I have to choose a star to post this and 1 star would be generous, can I choose a moon for the darkness of the entire experience...? Avi Sekero, the owner if you know whats good for your business you need to clean house in your restaurant, health department is on their way and season is here.

Prosecco is a favorite of mine. Food is generally good. Pricing is fine for value. (If you have refined tastes or a foodie, you may want to ignore my review. My tastes/palette are relatively simple.) The menu is worth the time to go-over, the selection is nice. The fresh-baked goods are great, with the added window display to observe goods being made is a nice touch. I purchased cannolis during my recent visit and it was a hit for my guests. The cappuccino is also enjoyable. I have had great dining experiences with Pedro as our waiter. Our recent experience was with Wafaa as our waitress and she was slammed and did a very nice job considering that she was waiting on people inside and outside. (Please note implied message here) If you are coming in to just relax and enjoy yourself, without significant time constraints, this is a nice place to just unwind or decompress. (See other reviews as it relates to timing). If you are in a rush and have time constraints, you would have to come during non-rush/in-between-meal times. I imagine that for the quality of the food they try to attain, and the customer-demand on their menu, the kitchen-size may not lend itself to giving them ways to gain on speed of service. (This is conjecture on my part.) I enjoy the outdoor dining of all of the PGA Commons dining establishments, Prosecco is no different. If restaurant is moderately full, there may be a line to the restrooms (1/per). Parking is tight on Sunday morning/afternoons. (PGA commons is a go-to for in-season visitors and by locals).

RACIAL DISCRIMINATION & PROFILING I was a patron of Prosecco Cafe on Saturday, June 11, 2016 with a friend. The server, Pedro, did not communicate my meal preference of having an omelette that did not contain pork or bacon with the kitchen. As a result, my omelette was given to me with slabs of bacon. I requested that the meal be removed and the server apologized and the manager, Mark Eckert, brought me a meal that did not contain pork or bacon or ham. My meal came to me ten minutes after my colleague finished eating. I paid the entire bill but I elected not to tip Pedro because of the bad service experience. Pedro then followed me outside the restaurant and headed towards my car. Pedro accosted me and yelled for not tipping him and said that I was punishing him nbecause of an error in the kitchen. In fear of my safety, I told Pedro that it was due to his miscommunication with the kitchen that my meal was incorrect and that I could not enjoy it with my friend, who was witnessing the incident. Pedro then said that I was a stupid Muslim and to enjoy my 72 virgins after my death in a car explosion (which is a hate statement and makes reference to Muslim martyrs posthumously). I went back into the restaurant to report the incident to Mark Eckert, Manager, and Yvonne Belmont, General Manager, who took my complaint and said that they will forward it over to Avi Sekero, the owner.

I have always eaten here for dinner and today was the first I came for brunch. I can say without a show of a doubt the food teased your palette with every fork full. I started with the cup of muesli. It is naturally sweetened with the raisins and cranberries. The crunch came from a balance selection of nuts like sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sliced almonds, and finely cubed green apples. It was garnished with pineapple, grapes, honeydew melon, and strawberries. I am a berry peon and I would have liked to see some blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. Maybe some banana slices to add more sweetness. Then I went on to have the Tuscan omelet on a Brioche bun. It had pesto, Carmelized onions, and brie. It was just enough food to make you feel satisfied and not have to get a togo bag. Overall this was well worth the price, which was very reasonable I might add. Would I recommend this to my friends and family, most definitely. Would I eat here again for brunch, you bet.

I feel kind of bad writing this review because we go there often and the breakfast is pretty good. However, today is Mothers day and my husband took me there and they had a Hot Mama for a special. I love corn beef hash but OMG it was so bad! The first time it came to us (we both ordered it) our hash and eggs were cold and I noticed a creamy texture to the hash. The waitress took them away for a new order. The next time the eggs were still cold and I had a huge piece of potato and the hash was gross! So chef this this is to you! Dont try to change corn beef hash - The pieces should be small and NO creamy whatever you put in it. Either one of us could not eat is and returned both. How nice they only took off one order and we still had to pay for the other one we did not eat! Happy Mothers day to me! No breakfast... And I still have a terrible taste in my mouth from that gross hash! BTW I am a chef !
