This shop looks clean, is pretty quiet, and a lot of their tattoos are amazing, but Im giving it a 2-star review based on my experience getting pierced there. When I went to get my cartilage pierced 7 months ago, Annie was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, she didnt discuss different earring options with me and just gave me a regular metallic stud without asking what I preferred (which was disappointing, since picking out the jewelry is half the fun!). I was too nervous and excited about my new piercing to ask and, since she didnt mention anything, I just assumed everyone with a new piercing got the same metallic earring. I went back a few weeks later to change the jewelry because Id lost the back to the earring shed put in. Annie seemed a bit disinterested and recommended one of the earrings at the shop. That earring turned out to be a regular stud for earlobes (it was too short and too thin to be a cartilage one, but I didnt know that at the time). Having that earring in affected my healing and required me to buy a new helix earring at a different shop, meaning I wasted 20$ on a regular stud earring that doesnt even have a pair. Now that its been 7 months and I have the right earring, Im hoping itll heal a bit better. Although Annie was nice and pretty patient during my piercing, the whole earring debacle means I dont plan on going back to her. If you do go to her for a piercing, I encourage you to ask questions about the type of jewelry she plans to put in and make sure its the right one for your type of piercing.

I came here for my very first tattoo and I have to say, this place exceeded my expectations! The tattoo piece I ended up getting is a portrait of my deceased grandfather; I wanted to get it as a memorial piece in memory of him and obviously was looking for someone with such skill and patience to be able to tattoo such a portrait. The guy I talked to was Trevor, a very sweet and patient artist! I checked out his work and he is very talented and knows his stuff! He seemed more excited about my tattoo than me! He was also very understanding and started the tattoo procedure slowly for me to get a feel for the needle for my first time. The session took a total of 7 hours, a very long time for one sitting. But it was well worth it! A lot of my family was there at the shop as well, but everyone working there was very chill and cool people. I loved the atmosphere and the vibes, even my family felt comfortable there! I cannot wait to go back for more tattoos! Definitely recommend :-)

I got my tongue pierced at a separate shop. I was experiencing a lot of discomfort, and I couldnt talk or eat still! It had been a full week I shouldve been able to do those things with no pain or swelling. I went into the shop and spoke with Annie, and she recommended I do salt water gargles and eliminate the non-alcohol mouthwash I was using. After doing this for just TWO DAYS along with Advil and ibuprofen, my swelling and pain went down tremendously! I can chew gum and eat most foods with no problem at all! Definitely recommend this shop for future piercing options and possibly tattoos! Theyre very knowledgeable and super friendly people. Everyone is so welcoming and theyre not your typical shop!

Definitely not your typical tattoo shop! Studio thirteen has an awesome environment and great people working there as well. I had Trevor tattoo me and he was easy to make conversation with and he makes sure youre comfortable the whole time youre there. The other staff that I interacted with were also very hospitable. 10/10 Would recommend and would return. Thank you all so much for your time and patience!

I got the top of my cartilage percied today and as soon as you walked in you are welcomed my percier Annie was amazing she was patient with me Im 14 still a baby about piercings and she did it super fast and explained everything only hurt for a little bit and it was only 50$ and they dont use fake earings mostly titanium. Overall great experience definitely will be going back for other side

I recommend everyone to Annie for piercings! She does everything possible to make you feel comfortable and excited for your piercing. When mine got irritated, she helped! Unlike other situations I have heard at other places, Annie replaced my belly ring with plastic. She was kind enough to not charge me too. Super clean and super friendly people. 5 out of 5 stars. All around great people.

I got my septum pierced by Annie yesterday. She was very clean and knowledgeable about the procedure. Obviously the piercing hurt, but she did everything quickly so it wasnt that bad! I highly recommend this shop for piercings AND tattoos. I didnt get a tattoo but I looked through their work and its beautiful. Will definitely be coming back for any of my body mod needs.

I got my first tatoo done here and he did an amazing job and always made sure I was ok and took his time...he went slow at first to make sure I was comfortable and ok....my tatoo came out awesome and I will definitely will be back for my second tatoo....I would recommend this shop to anyone...the best ever
