The other day I had decided to drop by Ink Spot and check out some of the portfolios. I had been all around Orlando, and knew exactly what I had wanted. When I first entered the store, I asked if anyone was a black and gray specialist. I was immediately referred to Soda Pop. I looked through his portfolio and was extremely impressed. The next day however, he had to leave for an emergency, and I was left wondering when I would ever get this tattoo. I was told to come into the shop and talk to another artist, Chris Snow. I am glad that I did. The other day I had not even seen his portfolio, if I had, I would have known immediately that his style was perfect for what I was looking for. Not only did he spend over an hour working on the drawing from the concept I had brought in, but he also walked me through the entire process from beginning to end. At first I was wary of being tattooed by a male since it was going to be on my ribs and I am not fond of showing off a lot of skin, but after about five minutes, I felt comfortable; I was in the hands of a professional. He was very comforting and very knowledgeable of the proper sterilization techniques. My tattoo looks amazing. After three years of designing and deciding, I know I made the right choice. It is healing beautifully and has almost no scarring what so ever. For everyone who has been deceived by the previous posts concerning the art work of Chris Snow, take mine to heart. If you are worried, check out his portfolio for yourself. Go talk to him and see that he does not bad mouth any of the other shops, and treats his clients with respect and professionalism which is sometimes lacking in other tattoo studios. I would definitely go back to Ink Spot, and am looking forward to getting my next tattoo with him as well.

My friend and I had went there to get tattoos together (she was paying for both) and when we got there (around 1am) the tattoo artist, Soda Pop, was drunk and high. He took our money for our tattoos and then told us he needed to take a nap with his girlfriend first. That nap lasted about 4-5 hours. Thats right. My friend and I sat there for HOURS watching him and his girlfriend sleep. Finally right before his boss showed up, his girlfriend left and he decided to take care of us. He kept flirting with me, so I jokingly asked for a free piercing, which he agreed to. My friend wanted one too since she was paying for our tattoos and he got annoyed with her, but agreed to pierce us both. He pierced my belly button and was having trouble getting the needle through my skin. I felt like he wasnt sure what he was doing. He was really nice to me though. He was really rude and impatient with my friend though. After that, we got our tattoos done and he decided to do mine first. Which was a dove on my left shoulder. He decided to sit on my right and drape himself across me, which was weird. My friend decided she had to go to the bathroom while he was tattooing me and as soon as she left, he tried KISSING ME. I turned my head and laughed. I didnt know what to do. Lol. She came back and he started doing her tattoo. She kept saying it hurt and he was so annoyed and rude to her. He stopped tattooing her and started eating his chips. After we finished, we left and I told her Id never go back there again. Our tattoos came out nice (other than the shading on mine, but I still like it) and so did our piercings, but we shouldnt have been kept waiting for HOURS.

These people are lovely. From the receptionist (shes dope) to the guy that did my tattoo, they are really nice. I went in and booked an appointment to get a piece done. It was a rather large tattoo with a lot of detail which every other shop around was quoting me $400 and up for it, the guy that did my tattoo charged me $250! (Ended up walking out paying around $320 after taxes and tip). When I actually went in to get the tattoo I was nervous but the guy was so patient and calm. He explained to me that the pain would be the same as my others and not as bad since its on my back. (I had 2 prior to getting this one done but they were all small script tattoos, not large artwork pieces). He told me funny stories of other customers reacting way worse and also played music to calm me down. Over all tattoo took about 4 hours and he talked me through it. When we got the spots that hurt me the most, he was kind enough to stop and ask if I was okay. The receptionist even came in during my break and talked to me and asked how I was doing. The other tattoo artist are nice too. They offered me food and candy and talked to me about their own work. Overall, they are inviting and nice here. Spot is clean and sanitary with great prices. So, I took my four year old daughter to the Ink Spot to get her first ear piercing done since I just dont trust the mall kiosks, the parlor was dry clean, organized, and professional. I just have to say the staff there were great, Allison was the one that agreed to pierce my daughters ears (was her first child and probably her last). My daughter is a typical four year old, she was so excited to get her ears pierced and have been for couple weeks now. She was even excited all the way up till she had the first needle go through her ear lope, thats when all hell broke loose. She started crying, hyperventilating, screaming, and everything in between. Allison was very patient with her, talked to her, tried to calm her down, and even waited till she calmed her self down. There were few other staff members that came to help with calming her down, there was Allison and Snow, Im sorry I didnt catch the other peoples names. Bottom line is, if I had another daughter and wanted to get her ears pierced, I would diffenitaly take her there (given that they would pierce another child ever again after my daughter). They are great and I would diffenitaly recommend them to anyone that is looking for anything done. ALISSON IS AWESOME

Went in with my boyfriend while we were staying in Orlando for an event. Came in and spoke to a wonderful lady at the counter, who walked me through the process and was reassuring. I got line work of a traditional Sun done by a lovely gent by the name of Dan. As it was my first tattoo, he was patient and showed me the brand new sanitary needles he would be using. He was truly a talented artist with his own technique, the lines went quickly and were near painless, he did a wonderful job! My boyfriend was getting his tattoo done by another artist in the shop by the name of Ben, and after watching him work with color ink I absolutely fell in love. Before I left that night I had asked him to color in line work, and he obliged with a wonderful and bold set of colors that makes the tattoo pop! Im definitely returning to this shop the next time we visit Orlando. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for professional artists who take care and enthusiam in what they do. Thank you so much for the beautiful pieces!
