Let me start of with ... what a great concept!!! A co-worker recommended this place for a romantic occasion...so when anniversary time came around, I made reservations to surprise my husband (very important to make reservations!! This place is constantly packed and walk-ins might have a long wait). When we got there we found no parking on the streets so we had to park a couple blocks away...take that into consideration if this is your first time here. Our first impression was .... a sexy, romantic and cozy ambiance: Red walls, candles, low lights, and romantic music. We ordered a dessert each (my husband got The Missionary Crisp, and I got their award winning The Morning After), and we tried The Man Candy and The Klimax to start. Desserts were excellent and they even wrote happy anniversary on the plate. The Morning After is a great twist a grilled cheese but on the sweet side, made with Danish bread, chocolate and Brie cheese; but I have to say... the best part of our experience were the drinks! The Chocolate and caramel rims on beer and wine glasses are just amazingly paired with the beverages...the Man Candy even tasted like chocolate covered strawberries (strawberry beer and chocolate rim). We also tried other beverages like the Shelbys Sex Appeal, the Adult Apple, and the Shots (coffee and Irish cream), but definitely the first two were the ultimate best!! The service was amazing! Extremely friendly and pleasant, plus the server took the time to explain the menu and recommend some items. Oh! And by the way... the menu is an Ipad...so its very interactive and you can see images of what youre ordering to have an idea!! I truly recommend this place!! Something to enjoy with your loved one!

here is no other place quite like Better Than Sex in Orlando, and that is what makes it so cool. If you are a dessert fan, this is your place to be. Reservations are strongly recommended, as there are limited seats and it fills up quickly. The ambiance is cozy and dark. The lack of light isnt a problem, its the jackasses who want to Instagram their food with flash on that are the problem. It is far more noticeable here than a typically lit place. The desserts are very interesting, and nothing like youll find at any other place. The drinks that come with chocolate/syrup on the glass are also pretty neat. Except for a handful of items, just about everything on the menu is about $10-14. So if you want the full experience, itll run you about $25/person if you arent splitting anything. But for special occasions, its worth it.

My fiance can eat desserts even when she has no room for real food, so I wanted to treat her to a trip to dessert heaven. We got an early reservation on a weeknight and were among the first people seated. Even though it was still daylight, the restaurant had a dark, rich atmosphere. The gilt ceiling and the risque photographs definitely played up the theme! After ordering from our iPads, we quickly received our drinks: a coffee and a wine, both rimmed with chocolate. Neither was a stand-out, but they were good quality. Our desserts were luscious, almost to the point of being overwhelming. We could have shared one, even with my fiances sweet tooth.

Very nice place but the service is too good! I just dont like to be asked every second minute if everything is ok or if I want to order something else.Above all, when I am there with my date, trying to have a moment!!And I also do not find very polite to be asked if I want to have the check right after finishing my dessert. I hope, this will not happen next time.. Update: I gave this place a second chance and went there again. This time was a double date. And it was amazing! Our server was so nice and she just came to our table, when we really needed her!! The desserts and drinks that we got were just amazing!! I really really like this place!

My husband, Brian and I went after a Predators game. We ordered the Banana Bazooka-layers of bananas, crepes, pastry cream and caramelized sugar and side of caramel- beautiful to look at and even better eaten. We also had the chocolate truffle, ganache with raspberry sorbet. For drinks, we ordered The Allnighter coffee which is chocolate rimmed with a shot of liquoir with hints of cinnamon also an Irish cream coffee. Our server Toria was an excellent addition to our experience and the romantic ambiance led to perfect end to our evening. Well be back!

Wow, all I can say is WOW!!! What a great addition to college park/Ivanhoe village. We have been twice since they opened, and the second d time they accommodated a group of nine of us. In saying that, this is a small dessert room and really aimed at couples and small groups, but they were more than happy to accommodate our large group. If you live in the area and have not been, GET There. If you are in town visiting, make this a must see while you are here as the desserts are second to none and the ambience is very entertaining/relaxing.

The location was excellent. I had been planning a special date for my wife and I and this dessert restaurant by far met and exceeded our standards. I recommend making reservations in advance. Mr Lynn helped me with booking a reservation that had been cancelled by another party. Call in advance even though it says they are closed, you can leave a VM. The dessert was delicious! Very intimate and cozy. Roughly 15 tables from what I can count, so you really get to enjoy every min while you are there. My wife and I will be returning for sure!

It was our anniversary. We made a reservation so there was no wait. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The dessert wasnt necessarily better than sex but it was pretty good. I didnt care for the drinks; not a fan of the frosted rim. For a new experience, Id recommend this place to any and everyone. Id definitely recommend this place for a girls night or a romantic dinner. Its quite small, so if you plan to go with a group, make the reservation or plan to sit separately. Overall, i enjoyed everything and would go again.

A fantastic, intimate adult only dessert bar whose decadent delights allow the owners to make such a bold claim in their name. Better Than Sex is a smaller version of their famous Key West location, with a darker, more romantic vibe. The desserts are exquisite, ranging from fruity to rich chocolate. The drinks are all wine and beer based (no liquor), with such specialties as carmel dipped champagne glasses. One of Orlandos best date night destinations. Be sure to have reservations!

We went here for our anniversary and it was AWESOME. We made reservations online and were seated immediately when we arrived. The restaurant is VERY small so make sure you make reservations. Everything is dark and romantic, and you sit very close to your partner while you eat. All the menu is on ipads, allowing you to look through the desserts and drinks. The inappropriately named everything makes for a lot of giggles, but everything was delicious! Highly recommended.

A unique and intimate desert experience you should share with a date you know well. The place and the menu items are a bit risque and playfully adds to the name of the restaurant and definitely not a place to bring the kids to. But if you and your significant other want a nice place to enjoy some rim jobs (what they call their drinks) and some other guilty delights (their delicious deserts) then this is the place to go.
